SIA's POV

And then a loud laugh was heard shattering my perfect moment and a hand came and engulfed Mr. Max's hand which was holding mine, in its own, and just like the mountain, it was Chanyeol who stood between us two.

"I'm glad that you joined us for dinner tonight. Let me give an introduction to the other family members."
And after that, he took Mr. Max with him leaving me with my hand hanging in the mid-air.

"That's going to hurt later if you don't put it down..... your hand I mean,"
Kai said with a mischievous smile dancing on his lips.

"You find it funny, don't you?"

"No, I find it to be something else actually."
Giving him a mean smile I left the scene to go to the others.

After roaming around the house with Mr. Max for 20 minutes while holding hands, Chanyeol finally led him to the dining table. He even insists to sit next to him for the sake of their new borne relationship. And I don't know whether I should be happy or worry about this weird confrontation.

"Can you stop staring at them? What's wrong with you tonight Sia?" Kai reproach while slapping my arm?

"Are they dating each other or maybe thinking about doing so?" I questioned eyeing the men sitting opposite to me.

"Did you crash your head with a wall or something? It can't be that you are doubting a man, a middle-aged one, and not even a woman specifically."  Kai grumbled in a low voice and slapped my arm twice.

"Mr. Max is not "a middle-aged one" and are you going to dislocate my arm?" I spoke while pouting.

"Anything wrong?" Chanyeol asked in his husky voice with a small glare.

I shook my head and sat straight in an ethical manner.

"Today's food is cooked by my sweet daughter-in-law. Especially for you Mr. Max, she put extra efforts into it."
Dad announced right before everyone was about to dig in.

"Her food will also be wonderful, just like she is."
I blushed a little at his opinion, really!

(Mr. and Mrs. Park will be used to refer to Chanyeol's parents)

He tasted some and breathed out in satisfaction while looking at me,
"It's been years since I ate something so delicious.
You know what Mrs. Park, whosoever home I visit they feed me the 'chef-made food', which tastes the same everywhere. While this food reminds me of my mother's one somehow, it holds some memories close to my heart." Chortled Mr. Max and whirled his head from mother to me.

He gave me a pure smile, a toothy grin the bright one. That's it!
I'm outta here, I'm gonna go and jump off the rooftop cause my heart is gonna explode anyways if he keeps smiling like that at me. His blue eyes are like the ocean, it's like I'm swimming in them, heaven is about to land on Earth....... but just then----------
*crack*

A sound was heard of something breaking. My eyes darted towards the source of it, Chanyeol.
He was sitting with a very calm expression though like he doesn't know anything. When he sensed everyone's stare at him he apologized in a dead voice.
"Sorry, the glass slipped from my hand."

"For real!!"
Kai chimed in like he doesn't believe in him.

"Yes, for real."
Chanyeol replied with gritted teeth.

"Be cautious Chanyeol, everyone, please resume and don't mind it.
Mr. Max, please have some more, you look so thin." Grandma handled the matter cleanly.
