"You suck at turf war!" My teammate yelled.

"Yeah, why are you even playing if you can barely shoot your gun?!" The other yelled also.

"You're such a disappointment. You're off the team!" Our leader said, pointing toward the door.

Trembling in both fear and sadness, I ran out the door, crying my eyes out. I never looked back and frankly, I never will. They don't need me anymore.

It's been a month since that incident with my now ex-friends. They already found another teammate to take my place. I can't help but feel jealous, that is supposed to be my spot on the team, not theirs. But what can I do? I'm the lowest leveled inkling there is around here. No team will accept someone as useless as me. Currently, I'm in the Square by Crusty Sean's food truck, sipping on my drink and surfing the net. Trying to do something to distract me from this dark hole in my heart.

I sigh, "What's the point?"

I slammed my phone down on the table, starting a few inklings and octolings. But they quickly ignored me and went on with their business, just like they always do. I heard a commotion going on to the side and turned my head to see what was happening. My eyes widened as a strange feeling took hold of me. There, in the center of the crowd, was a team of yellow-colored inklings. All of them had white coats with matching boots. They all looked so cool. But the main inkling I noticed was the one leading the other three. His eyes were as sharp as a knife, his posture was that of a king's.

"Omigosh, it's Emperor!" A girl fangirled.

"Eeek! Emperor's so cute!" Another did the same.

I whispered to myself, "So the leader's Emperor? Huh..."

While the group was distracted, I saw one of the members sneak off. The boy looks younger than the rest of his squad, almost my age. I wonder where he's going, I kept my eye on him. He went to Crusty Sean's bucket just to stand by. Now's my chance to talk to him, I guess, I stood and walked over to him. I tap him lightly on the shoulder.

"H-Hello, what's your name?" I asked, nervously.

"Oh, my name's Prince," He responds, shyly.

I saw that he's blushing a little. Aw, he's adorable, I smiled. I point over to his team over there, who still didn't notice he was gone.

"What's your team's name? I don't think I've heard of you before."

"That's surprising," Prince said, "But our team's called Team Emperor, it's after my brother, of course."

Before I could say anything else, a smooth and velvet voice cut through our conversation. We turn to see his brother, Emperor, looking over with a stern expression. Perhaps he didn't like his brother being around strangers.

"Come now, Prince!" Emperor said, "Our next match is about to begin!"

"Oh, sorry!" Prince apologized, "I'm sorry, I have to go now."

I shrug it off. It's not that big of a deal, he's got more important things to do. Prince waved goodbye before joining his team again. I smiled, at least, he's not worthless. Unlike me... I looked down with a frown. I grabbed my phone from the table and walked to the train station. But before I even made it to the train, someone called out from behind. I turned around to see it was Prince again. He ran over to me with a big smile on his face.
