Emma's P.O.V
"Shit, are you serious?" I whined.
"Yeah," She sighed.
"But this is where all of our friends are! This is where we go to school! This is where Hayes is." My voice cracked at the last part.
"I-I know. But we leave right after you get back. I packed your stuff right after you left."
"What? That's in less than a week!" I yelled.
"It's not their fault, okay?! This is hard for me too! Mom and Dad got a new job transfer," She explained.
"How am I gonna tell Nash and Hayes?" I mumbled.
"Just tell him. You'll feel bad if you don't. I have to go. Bye!" She hung up the phone, and my mascara was running. I was crying? Well duh Emma, I'm moving halfway across the country. I sniffled as I washed my face off, and soon enough, it looked like nothing happened.

"How about that one?" Hayes pointed to a huge rollercoaster with a ton of loops.
"I-uh... Sure!" I exclaimed as we ran up to the short line. He still doesn't know, and I've known for 12 hours. I was dark outside, and the lights were beautiful. We were only in the line for a minute, and we got strapped into our seats.
"Are you ready for this?" He wondered.
"I don't know," I admitted. He grabbed my hand, and kissed me.
"We'll do this together," He whispered.
"Aww!" The people around us interrupted. I screamed as we went down the hills, while Hayes laughed his ass off.
"Fuck you," I giggled when we got off the ride.
"You love me," He shot back.
"True. Let's just enjoy this while it lasts." Hayes gave me a funny look. "What?"
"When did you become so mature? That sounded super grown up to me," He chuckled.
"Callie called my phone while I was washing my hands in the bathroom this morning," I started. "And sh-she told me that my parents got a job transfer." His smile quickly faded, and our eyes were getting glossy.
"Where are they going?" He asked.
"I'm moving to St. Louis," I whispered.
"N-no! You can't!" He whimpered.
"I know that. I found out earlier. Please don't be mad at me, because I leave right after this event."
"How could I be mad at my beautiful girlfriend for something that wasn't her fault?" He questioned. "Now turn that frown upside down, because this is going to be the best week of your life." I let out a weak smile, and he pecked my lips. Him and I grabbed our pennyboards, and rode back to the hotel.
"Hayes! Oh my god Hayes, is that you?!" A very familiar voice squeaked. "And Emma! Wow, ya'll haven't changed a bit since the last time I saw you!"
"Hey Jordan," I gritted between my teeth.
"I came here to see you guys! How are you?" She wondered as she pushed me out of the way so she could be closer to Hayes.
"We're good! Emma and I aren't enemies anymore, so that's not a problem anymore," He replied. You know, Jordan is really gonna get in the way. Maybe Hayes and I should break up until she's gone. It's just a thought.
"I heard! I ship it so hard," Jordan said.
"Yeah, I finally gave into the blue eyes," I laughed. "Well we have to go! Bye!" I pulled Hayes into the elevator before he could say anything else.
"What's your problem?"
"My problem is that your ex girlfriend just showed up, and she obviously wants you back! I think we should just breakup until she's gone," I choked out.
"O-okay. But I'm getting back together with you as soon as she leaves," He warned me as we walked into the hotel room.

I couldn't find Hayes in the morning, so I trudged out of bed, and threw something on, just so I could get some breakfast in the lobby. But of course, intead of using the stairs, I used the elevator.
"You little bitch."
