Limits Surpassed (Discontinued)

On their last legs

Bakugou got up from the ground, coughing up blood as he did so. The last attack was way more painful than he imagined it to be. But it didn't matter, he had Deku right where he wanted. He will get win this fight with his quirk, he had to. He saw Deku in his battle stance, ready to pounce at him the moment he saw an opening. His left arm was destroyed in the explosion and he couldn't move it. Both of them knew that one good hit was all that was needed to finish the other off. Bakugou charged at Deku with all his strength, but this time he had a plan. As Deku ducked under the Bakugou's punch, he was hit with a roundhouse kick to his face that send him flying up in the air. Bakugou took advantage of this and blasted him in his back, sending him to a floor above. Deku was barely conscious after the attack but got up nonetheless. He activated OFA as Bakugou charged at him with a kick. All Bakugou saw was  that Deku's right arm was glowing purple and the next moment he felt himself being swung into the ceiling. He tried to stop it but the speed was too fast for him to react to. As he braced for impact, his gauntlets broke as they hit the ceiling and he fell back down.
Deku was exhausted. He didn't have the energy to fight anymore. "1 minute left !" announced All Might, making Bakugou smirk as he got back up. Deku was scared now, there was nothing he could do. He was going to lose this fight and fail the exercise, he was going to let All Might down. At that moment he saw a pink and white figure climbing up the stairs. It was Uraraka and she was in no better shape than him. Bruised and bleeding, she still hadn't given up. Then how could he even think about losing this fight. He saw Shinso's unconscious body starting to move, out of the corner of his eye. His spirit might have been rejuvenated but his body wasn't. There was no way he would be able to take them on, not in the state he was in. So he made a risky plan. Bakugou stood there, bleeding from his arms but in his palm there was an yellow orb of energy. Deku took this for Bakugou's last move before he passed out. A concentrated blast that either kills him or sends him flying out of the building. He couldn't counter this or dodge it, he simply didn't have the energy. So he enacted his plan. Stomping his foot on the ground, he broke the floor beneath them, immediately sending Shinso falling into the floor beneath and jumping at Bakugou for one last attack. The power of OFA coursed through his veins but it didn't hurt anymore. There were green sparks of electricity around him as he went him for one final punch but alas ! It never landed. Bakugou had lost his footing but his years of experience had taught him how to counter this. Using one hand to stay afloat, he placed the orb in front of Deku's stomach, and in a split second, Deku was sent flying out of the building and crashed onto the road. "The heroes have won" said All Might, as the moment Bakugou blasted Deku, Uraraka had touched the warhead, completing the exercise. Bakugou breathed a sigh of defeat, "Damn you pink cheeks" he swore as he fell to the ground, only to be caught by the capturing weapon of the now conscious Shinso. Uraraka collapsed from the pain and she heard the sound of a medic robot before she passed out.
"Not even 1 week and he is already a regular patient. If he keeps this up, he might even break the record" said Recovery Girl in a scathing tone. "He is so much like you All Might, and not in a good way" said Recovery Girl, "I know" said All Might as he caressed Deku's forehead, waking him up. He was in the school's medical bay, with multiple casts on his limbs and torso. He was the worst one off the four. Shinso's ribs were cracked but they were healed by Recovery Girl in an instant. Uraraka suffered from bruises and small fractures but they didn't pose much of a problem. Bakugou's hands were fractured but he got out in a few minutes. However, Deku suffered from multiple broken bones, internal hemorrhages and first degree burns. He had been in the hospital for the whole afternoon with multiple visits from Uraraka, Shinso, Tenya and the rest of the classmates. "All...Might, there's something you need to...know" said Deku, regaining his consciousness. "Rest, Young Midoriya, we'll talk later" said All Might as he got up from his seat, and bid him goodbye.

As All Might rested in his house, he received a call from one of his oldest friends. A voicemail, to be exact. "I think I have what you wanted Toshi. Bring the kid to me, tomorrow morning."
