Walking in behind the realtor, Raphael smiled as he lifted his daughter higher into the air. The small child giggled as he rested her back onto his hip. The realtor smiled at the young couple.
"This house is two million, four hundred ninety nine thousand, nine hundred ninety nine dollars. It's a four bedroom, four bath, two car garage. Though you already knew that. Why don't we take look around?" She smiled. Raph nodded his head and followed with Vanessa, who had a three and a half carat emerald shaped engagement ring on her finger. Throughout the tour, Vanessa could envision which room would be which.
"This would be an awesome playroom for her, bubs." Vanessa smiled as she wrapped one of her frail arms around her fiancee's free one. She smiled as she reached for the nine month old.
"This would be an amazing playroom. Is it going to be just you three?"
"Um no, my little brother's heading out here for summer vacation and we wanted him to have his own room. But I've seen enough. Where do I sign?" Raph asked.
"Raphael Dominic!" Vanessa gasped.
"No offense, sir. But you are rather young, are you sure you will be able to afford this? I've seen plenty young artists such as yourself run themselves into the dirt by spending money they don't have."
"I may be young but I'm bringing in billions so let's go. Where do I sign?" He asked again as he handed his daughter to her mother.
"Right this way." The realtor smiled. Vanessa followed cheerfully behind her fiancé.
My apologies! Let's catch you up, shall we? Manhattan Panic didn't work out because Casey and Josh fell into the world of drugs and alcohol. Allie ended up heading to Georgia to live with her aunt after Josh left her, leaving sole rights of Sloane to Raph and Vanessa. Vanessa adopted Sloane two months ago and they sold their other house three days ago. They have a month to get out. Raphael started his own business, a grocery store for the low income families in the big cities for mutants and humans alike, he got signed by Slim Records right after Manhattan Panic broke up and is getting ready to release his first album within the next few months. Not to mention he did some modeling gigs to make some extra money, for Calvin Klein.
After he signed the papers, they went back to their house and slowly began to pack.
On the other side of the country, Donnie and Mikey walked around their fathers home in silence, Splinter was at work, leaving the boys alone. No Leo to talk to them about their problems. No Raph in his bedroom playing the guitar or blasting Papa Roach or Metallica all night. It was just......quiet. Mikey walked out of his bedroom and to the living room. He sat down on the couch and his phone began to buzz. He pulled it out of his pocket and smiled when he saw a FaceTime call from his brother.
"Hey, Raph!" He cheered when he answered the phone.
"Hey, buddy! How's it going over there?"
"Good! I just saw on People magazine, you're buying a new house?"
"Yea, V and I have been looking. We found the one today, figures People already knows. Paparazzi were surrounding the house when we left."
"This is what you wanted." Mikey chuckled.
"Yea....I know." Raph sighed as he walked through his old home.
"How much longer in the other house?" Mikey asked.
"Few days. I rented two U-Hauls and then we'll get everything unpacked at the new house."
"That's so exciting."
"Yea." Raph smiled as he walked into his office.
"Got a new album?"
"Yea, waiting for the demo to get emailed to me." Raphael smiled brightly.
