Starry Night

During the hot dessert night

I looked to the sky

And saw the bright lights

Up in the sky, high

They were so many

As they littered the sky

Where back in the city, you will not find any

Above my head, they were so high

They danced in the night

As many as the grains of sand on a beach

Those little lights

Higher than my arm can reach

Each has a name

Not known by any

Which to me is such a shame

They each matter so much despite there are so many

As they form constellations

I see how much I love these bright lights

So no matter what nation

You can enjoy the starry night
