Harshini passed through the heavy security around the hospital, everyone acknowledged her and made way to Arjun's room.
"Hey Harshini! How are you?" Kavya greeted, from the day Arjun is in hospital Kavya never left him. Harshini admired this girl who left her Masters abroad just to be with Arjun, love of her life.
No words were needed for others to understand her feelings, Kavya's actions were clear showing how much she loves Arjun.
"I am going to bring this medicine, he is awake" Kavya smiled and went away. Harshini slowly stepped inside the room, her eyes filled immediately seeing him lying on bed with all machines around.
"Harshini" Arjun called but it came as a mere whisper shaking her heart to the core. She controlled the tears which were threatening to fall down any time. He hates tears.. she went with a small smile near him.
"I don't want to see you next time like this" Harshini said letting her tears flow. Arjun closed his eyes controlling his anger. "Why do you people cry? I am still alive. Harshini! You and mom are like cry babies. See Kavya my brave girl" Arjun said shocking Harshini.
Does he like Kavya? He should have seen how Kavya cried when he got admitted in hospital
Harshini smiled tightening her lips, "Fine, I am getting engaged" she said and looked at Arjun's reaction.
His face looked blank, no anger, no happiness. Just blank.. "Are you happy with it?" He asked. Harshini nodded with a blush making Arjun smile widely.
"Ouch" Arjun shrieked as his cheek pained, "I could not even smile freely" Arjun said plainly. "Arjun promise me to get well soon" Harshini asked him.
"Are you planning to make me dance in your wedding? I won't girl, these injuries are still deep. I feel like sleeping forever but I will be fine, hopefully soon" Arjun's face became blank again.
"Don't know how many more medicines will they prescribe" Kavya muttered coming inside. "Arjun I doubt you will have all tablets in your body instead of bones" Kavya shook her head.
"No problem Kavya! Let's start medicines business. I will be looking after stock and you will be cashier" Arjun tried to joke but Kavya glared at him.
"Harshini! Tell this man to look after his business, no need of any new ones. His parents are worried about his condition and he jokes on them too" Kavya complained about previous incidents.
"Kavya! I was trying to ease them, you just don't understand" Arjun explained.
"That's not the way you do. Your humour sense is pathetic, so better don't do it" Kavya warned.
"I am not a comedian or joker, I just try" Arjun started to explain, Harshini stood there looking at both of them smiling. From past ten minutes they are ranting without caring about her presence. Arjun never ignored her, now he does and it's for good.
'Kavya! Calm down, you are stressing him" Harshini said in low tone as if warning her. "I just got carried away" Kavya bit her tongue and glared at Arjun.
Now they started fight with eyes, Harshini rolled her eyes and bid bye to them. This could be the last time she's going to meet them, she's not sure what may happen in future. Harshini is a person who lived more in present, she doesn't like worrying and wasting her present.
She came out of hospital and found Arjun's mother, "I think you should start preparations for their wedding" Harshini winked. "I was not sure but now if you too feel the same I should definitely inform it to his father" Mrs. Nanda said.
After informing about her wedding and little chitchat she returned.
She expected Varshith would question her but he didn't bring that topic and remained casual. Harshini wondered about his behaviour but she's relieved that her brother left the topic. She did not have energy to fight with him.
