it was two days before everybody was going to meet each other. mavis was currently on facetime with clay, at 11:42 PM. "hey clay," he hummed in response, "do you want to watch miraculous lady bug with me? it's been like all over tiktok and i wanna check it out." the girl said. he laughed, "miraculous lady bug, really? i mean i'll watch it, but my sister use to watch that when she was 4." he explained.
"whatever!! let's just watch it!" mavis beamed. so the two grabbed their laptops and did a netflix party. they watched the first two episode and decided to take a break. "the transformations were so painful to watch" mavis groaned, causing dream to laugh. "right!! marionette is so awkward sometimes and it just hurts!" the fell into a fit of laughter.
"y'know, i kinda look like marionette and you look like adrien." she spoke truthfully. "i see it honestly." he agreed. but they didn't know they also were in common with them in another way. the pair were just as blind as characters. will they ever realize it?
"i'm changing your contact name to lady bug, and it's a new nickname for you!" dream chirped, changing to her contact name. "do i call you cat noir? eh- never mind, i'll just call you cat." she justified, doing as she said. "ok well i'm going to hang up so i can sleep-" she was interrupted by the boy. "you don't have to hang up, you can stay on call, if you want to of course, but i'll mute if you want." he convinced her to stay.
"okay fine, i'll stay." she replied, but she smiled thinking about he wanted her to stay. she quickly fell slept and he went on mute to bother her. "god she's so perfect." he mumbled to himself.

it was morning for mavis, and she woke up, seeing dream looking at his pc. she had completely forgot about the sleep call, "morning cat!" she said in an upbeat tone. he quickly unmuted, "hi lady bug!" he responded with the same energy. she smiled at the nickname. "tomorrow we get to see each other! it's insane! i'm so excited to see you." dream reminded her.
"oh shit! i'm excited to see you too, but i haven't started in packing stuff! can we call later? i need to get ready for everything." she explained, and so they hung up and the girl got ready.
