I was left alone in the kitchen as I tried to block out the sound of Klaus ragging at his hybrids, Elena escaped and now he's sending them off to find her.
He comes back into the kitchen, with an angry face bolted in. I didn't say anything, just took a sip of the blood that was in my fancy drinking glass.
Klaus stares at me from across the island while I sit on the side closer to the dining table with my little glass of blood. I gave a half-smile and slid the blood towards him.
He takes it and downs it.
"I can't believe they let Elena escape," Klaus says as he sets the glass down.
"I know Klaus. I think they'll find her, and if not, one of the Salvatores will, and then all we'll have to worry about is getting her back" I said as soothing as I could.
"We shouldn't have to be talking about 'getting her back in the first place," He says looking at me with a softer face now, the irritation was still there, but he wasn't mad at me.
"Are you still sore?" He asks, trying to be playful.
I felt my face getting hot as I looked at him.
"Yeah, a little" I replied, thinking about this morning's incident where my legs were shaking too much to properly walk downstairs and resulted in being carried to this stool by Klaus.
The shaking was gone and the soreness was gone, so I'm sure I can walk fine now.
"I would like you to accompany me on some errands and I need you at full strength, are you up to it?" He asks.
"Yes, always" I replied with a small giggle.

A bar.
He took me to a bar, I'm not mad, I need something to take the edge off, but I just wasn't expecting a bar.
"Can we get a couple of glasses and a bottle of your finest vodka?" Klaus asks as we sit down.
"I didn't know this was the errand I was supposed to accompany you on," I say teasingly to Klaus as the Bartender returns almost immediately with his request.
He pours us a couple of shots as he gives that cocky smirk to the glasses without looking at me.
"The errand, my dear hybrid, is to get something for you to relax and loosen up," He says, sliding one of the glasses to me.
I raised my glass in mock celebration, but when Klaus raised his he took a deep breath, causing me to pause, waiting for him to say something.
"To being the most fearsome hybrid-power couple humanity has ever seen," Klaus says before touching his glass to mine, causing a small clink when they touch, we both down our drinks and set the glasses on the table for him to pour more.
Klaus flirts with me as we drink, causing me to giggle occasionally from the small buzz going on in my head.
"Place looks pretty good, considering your hybrid got blown up in it," A voice says from behind us.
"Caroline," Klaus says out of nowhere.
The bubble that Klaus and I created was immediately popped, bringing us hurtling back down to the real world and ripping us away from the one that we were in.
I look at her in a thin-strapped black mini dress as she sits on the other side of Klaus and feel immediately threatened by her beauty.
I cross my arms across my chest on the bar as I look at them.
