At the mansion Klaus had the hybrids chain Connor up onto a board.

We walked into the room as Klaus pushed open the door. I stood back by the doorway and Klaus stepped forward to be closer to Connor.

"Looks like I'll have to beef up the hybrid security detail," Klaus says.

He looks to his right and sees Stefan Salvatore,

"I was going to take him, but I figured you went through such trouble to truss him up and hang him in your red room of pain" Stefan comments.

"It's from the Inquisition. I thought it was a nice touch" Klaus says quickly.

"What'd you get out of him?" Stefan asks.

"Not enough. Nothing about the council fire, and he's not saying anything about this greater evil we're all supposed to be shivering over. What brings you snooping?" Klaus asked.

"I can't tell you in front of him. As I'm sure you can assume, our friend here can't be compelled.

"You're full of Mysteries aren't you?" Klaus asks Connor rhetorically.

"I told you I don't know anything," Connor says to Klaus.

"Well thankfully, I know plenty" Klaus replied.

Connor struggles against his bonds as Klaus turns away from him.

"Shall we?" He asks, steering Stefan out of the room.

"Come Natalia" He says as I fall into step behind them.

Klaus closes the door behind us and then turns to Stefan.

"So what's with the home invasion?" He asks Stefan.

"Damon said you knew something about this guy, I should have figured you were up to something when you healed Elena with werewolf poison without asking for anything in return" Stefan says.

Wait what?

"You healed Elena?" I asked.

"Now not the time Natalia" Klaus says brushing me off slightly.

Klaus smiles at Stefan, "I was feeling benevolent" he says with a shrug of his shoulders.

Why would he go and see Elena without telling me then heal her when he was the one who said she wasn't our concern anymore?

"You're never benevolent. Who is he? What's the five?" Stefan asks.

Klaus grabs my hand and holds it tight, he was feeling nervous but honestly right now I don't want to touch him until he explains what is going on with Elena and why the reappearing of one of the five changes that.

"So many questions," Klaus says to Stefan and holds onto me a little tighter.

"It's a good thing I have nothing to do today, except get answers out of you," Stefan says as he sits down in one of the chairs.

"Fine," Klaus says as he starts to get irritated.

"You might actually be useful in getting my sister to cooperate," He steps down into the sitting area and pulls me along with him, "The brotherhood of the five is a group of highly skilled vampire hunters. We crossed paths with them in the twentieth century. Italy. My siblings and I had followed the Normans as they conquered the south, turning, and feeding on people as we went" Klaus explains as he sits down, pulling me down right next to him and hugging his arms around my waist, and continues to tell the same story to Stefan that he once told to Margaret and I.
