Not long after Caroline was cured and Klaus woke up, Caroline was on the phone with Elena, they needed the sword now. Even though Klaus offered to "help" Caroline shrugged him off like she always does.

They get what they want from Klaus and then he means nothing to them, but you know who doesn't do that to Klaus? Me. Yet I'm the last person he thinks about.

When Caroline leaves Klaus looked over to me as he leaned on the back of the couch and I sat on the floor against the door frame.

"Is there a reason for your betrayal?" He asks.

I laughed.

"Betrayal? That's what you call it? You were going to fall for her little sob story and for a moment you looked like you believed she actually liked you, and look, now that she's fine she's ignoring you again. Don't you see? They played you. Used you. Tyler set her down here on purpose because he knew you wouldn't be able to help but rescue 'poor Caroline'. But that's not betrayal, is it? Because it's Caroline. Don't talk to me about betrayal until the person that you've been in love with for five hundred years sleeps with you then drools over another person," I snapped back at him.

I could see the anger all over his face, yet hidden in his eyes was shock.

"I don't feel anything for Caroline," He says.

I scoffed and looked away from him.

"I don't, she's just the easiest to feel sorry for," He tells me.

"Well you used to have something for her, and you don't think that may bother me? Knowing that you feel sorry for her and you used to 'fancy' her. It looks like you still like her," I explained.

He just stares at me.

Tyler and Caroline come back from wherever they disappeared to, most likely looking through our things, trying to find the sword.

What do you know? When Tyler was visible I could see that he had the sword, wrapped in a sheet.

"What do you know, if it isn't little orphan Lockwood? Come to show how laughably impotent you are against me?" Klaus asks.

"I'm just trying to help my friends find the cure. We found this in your attic," He says, pulling the sword out of its sheath.

"And you think finding the sword brings you closer to the cure?" I asked him without looking at them.

"You guys tell me. I was playing around with the handle on the ride over, and I found this," Tyler says.

"And what do you think it is?" Klaus asks.

"It's called a cryptex," Caroline says as she stands up, causing everyone to look over at her, "What? I've seen 'The Da Vinci Code', you turn the different sides of the symbols to get the translation on the other side" Caroline explains.

"And with the magic of the internet, Elena sent over these," Caroline continues as she grabs a stack of pictures and turns them to us revealing pictures of Jeremy's tattoo, "Now all we have to do is cryptex away. If you wanted to help we wouldn't do anything to stop you," Caroline says.

I snorted.

"More manipulation," I mumbled looking down at my fingernails.

"Well, might I suggest using the magic of the internet to purchase an aramic to english dictionary from your nearest realtor," Klaus replied.

"What's Aramic?" Tyler asks, looking at Caroline.

"It's a dead language. It hasn't been around since like, biblical times," Caroline explains.
