Mito Uzumaki POV

My life has always been easy and simple. I've been favored by Kami from how good my life has been.

I was born to the Yondaime Hokage, aka Minato Namikaze.

I had the Kyuubi no Kitsune's Yin chakra sealed into me soon after my birth, while my brother Menma had the Yang chakra which is harder to control and evil. My disappointment of a brother Naruto has the soul of the Kyuubi sealed in him, making him evil by default.

At the age of 3, I had befriended many clan heirs and heiresses, including Ino Yamanaka, my bestie and rival in a way for Sasuke's love.

At the age of 5, I began complex ninja training fit for the only daughter of the Hokage. Of course my brother had gotten training as well, but I'm the favorite child.

At the age of 9, I became heir to the Uzumaki clan, one of the strongest clans in the entire ninja world. Later that same year, I found out I was a sensor type Uzumaki. My mom

At the age of 12, I graduated from the academy hoping Sasuke-Kun and I would be on the same team. But my loser brother, and that loser forehead girl got on his team instead. I was then stuck with Dog Breath and Bug Boy on my genin team.

Who knew people could act so vulgar around the daughter of the Hokage?

Anyways,

Right now I'm on yet another D-rank mission that Jiraiya has told Menma and I since we started going on missions. Since we're the children of the Hokage and heirs to noble clans of Konoha, we should be doing harder missions from the get go instead of starting with simple chores.

Stupid Dog Breath is trying to be the leader of out team when I should be leading, Bug Boy was being creepily silent as he always is while Kurenai sensei is talking with the client. Our mission right now is to weed some peasant's garden in the middle of the afternoon.

Why can't he do it himself instead of asking 12 year olds to do it for him?

As we finished weeding the garden we went to collect our pay for the work we did. Kiba then came up to me afterwards, looking really fidget-y and nervous.

"Hey um Mito." He said in a wavering tone while looking at his feet. "Would you, uh- maybe um- like to go on a date with me?" He asked, finally looking at my face but not my eyes directly.

It took a second for that to register in my mind. As soon as his words settled in my mind, I was disgusted and stepped backwards away from him.

"Why in Kami's name would you ask me such a question?" I shouted at him. He began cowering slightly and looked ashamed at himself as he should be.

"You might be the heir to a well known clan here in Konoha, but you can never get on a high enough level to be able to ask me, the daughter of the Hokage and heiress to the noble Uzumaki clan, on a date. If you were a Hyuuga or an Uchiha heir, I'd date you without hesitation." As I ranted, Kiba's expression seemed to begin changing.

I didn't care though, so I continued.

"Maybe you could run along and try befriending my mistake of a brother Naruto. He seems to like being around idiots. I don't know why Sasuke hangs around worthless people like him-" I was cut off with a sharp slap to my face.

I gingerly touched the place I was slapped as I looked and saw it was Bug Boy who slapped me. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME" I yelled at him. Kurenai sensei left a while ago right after we collected our pay, so she didn't see what happened.

"You are a spoiled brat." was all Shino said before he turned around and left with KIba.

"Ugh. The nerve of some people."

As I arrived at my house, my mother came out to greet me. Her face was cheerful, but that cheer melted into concern when she saw the slap mark on the side of my face.

"Mito! What happened to your face?" She asked in a concerned tone as she lightly touched my cheek.

"It's nothing Kaa-san." I said as I pushed past her to get to my room. 

Sorry for the short chapter. I'm still doing bad in school so I'm trying to catch up.

Should Mito get a redemption like Menma did, or should she stay as a mean child?
