"Sabine! What a wonderful surprise! It's been a long time!" Ketsu exclaimed gleefully.
"It sure has, Ketsu!" Sabine said, hugging her friend.
Ursa just stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. She cleared her throat in an uncomfortable manner, and Sabine took the hint in a different way.
"Oh, sorry. Ketsu, this is my mother, Ursa," she said.
"Pleased to finally meet you," Ketsu said politely.
"Good to meet you as well. Sabine spoke about you multiple times."
"She spoke a bit about you too, though not much. Now why did you come here? Aren't you looking for Ezra?" Ketsu addressted the last part to Sabine.
"Ahsoka and I found him a few days back. I came here because we—my mother and I—need your help."
"Come inside the Shadow Caster and we'll talk."
After Sabine spilled what had happened, and that she thought that Ketsu might help, Ketsu looked thoughtful.
"Of course I'll help you. I've been doing nothing these past months. And you know me; I always say yes to an adventure!"
"Yup. That's you alright. Now let's go!"
Ursa only looked back and forth at the younger women.
"You two have friendship that I can barely understand," she said.
The younger women laughed, and Ursa joined in after a moment.
Later On The Ghost.............
"So it's just us against Thrawn. Three versus a remaining group of the Empire. Is that even possible?"
"Yes. Ezra went out alone to face Thrawn, and he freed Lothal. Luke Skywalker went and faced Vader and the Emperor by himself and managed to turn Vader in the process. So the answer is yes," Sabine reminded the former bounty hunter.
"Oh yeah........strange to think I forgot......after all, I was in the Battle of Endor," she said.
A/N: I don't know if Ketsu was. Dave Filoni never said what happened to Ketsu after that.
"I'm surprised you forgot as well," Sabine added.
Ursa interrupted.
"So sorry to cut short your reunion, but we're approaching Naboo. Sabine, who is here who might want to help us?" She asked. Ketsu looked at Sabine.
"You said it was only you, your mom, and me. There are more?"
"There might be more. I know someone who will help, no matter what. He's a friend of Ahsoka's, and he fought along side her during the Siege of Mandalore, Mother."
"Oh really? Who is it?"
Sabine smiled. "Not telling," she said in a sing-song way.
"I hate it when you do that," Ursa growled, turning back to the controls.
"I know. That's why I do it," Sabine said sweetly (making everybody laugh). But deep down, Sabine and Ursa were both feeling very scared. Being Mandalorians, they know how to cover their feelings, but now, when they thought about it, their faces darkened. Ursa even got a little teary, although she quickly blinked them away and wiped her face when no one was looking.
"Pay attention!" She inwardly scolded herself. "You're a Mandalorian; a former Countess of a powerful Clan! Just pay attention! You're husband and son will be back with you and your daughter soon."
"Mom? This is the third time I'm talking to you. Are you okay?" Sabine was waving her hand in front of her mother's face. Ursa blinked, and said, "I'm fine. Just lost in thought. I'm not really used to this. I mean, I'm not used to a former Grand Admiral holding people I care about hostage. I'm used to Clans doing that, but this—this is different."
Sabine softened. She forgot her mother wasn't used to this kind of capture/rescue. Being a Ghost member—at least a former one—she knew what it was like.
"Remember, Mother. I've done this a thousand times. Just follow my lead, and all will be well..........at least, how they always go," she said. Ursa looked at her.
"Have these missions ever gone wrong for you?" She asked.
"Always. But we always come out on top," her daughter replied; not really helping Ursa. Sabine went on to Ketsu, "Ketsu, I'm sure you'll remember these people. Just, let me do the talking, okay?"
The bounty hunter sighed. "Fine, Sabine. You were always better with words anyway," she added with a sly glance at the Mandalorian.
The ramp opened, revealing Rex, Jai Kell, Zare Leonis, and.........Sabine groaned on the inside. Hondo Ohnaka. One of her least favorite people in the galaxy.
This was going to be one heck of a ride.
