Sabine and Ezra looked into each other's eyes. Both had just confessed their true feelings for the other. After a moment, Ezra said,

"How long did you know?"

Sabine paused.

"Believe it or not, it was when we first met. I.....I was just scared to admit my feelings. At that time, I had only thought it was a crush. But when you were going behind Hera's back, into the vent before......you know.....when you looked in my eyes, I felt something warm filling my inside. I didn't realize what that feeling was until a few days ago."

Ezra looked at his best friend—and possible girlfriend—with understanding filling his gaze.

"A similar thing happened with me. You know the beginning—"

"Very well."

"—that's what I was going to say. But as I was saying, when Kanan.........when Kanan was blinded for about a year, and you had your pink, purple, and white hair, that's when I realized I was in love with you."

Sabine was silent for a minute. Then she said, "I think was should be careful how we tread. I know how Order 66 occurred, and so we should be careful."

"I agree, Sabine. You're right, as usual."

Sabine looked at her friend with a smirk on her face. "C'mon. Let's get back to Ahsoka's ship."

Meanwhile.........

"I'm going to look for her!" Tristan exclaimed. Ahsoka looked back and forth from the younger Mandalorian, to the older ones.

"Tristan, Sabine will find her way back. We need to stay here, and make sure none of those shadow creatures attack your mother; or us," she said calmly.

"How she stays calm like that in these situations, I'll never know!" Tristan thought.

"Well maybe one day I can teach you," Ahsoka's voice came in.

"HOW DID YOU READ MY MIND?!?!" Tristan shouted, for with shock then annoyance.

Ahsoka smiled. "I didn't. I can just feel your thoughts and feelings," she said.

"That's basically the same thing," Tristan said, this time annoyed.

"Actually, it's not. I can't read your memories, though I can see when you are having a flash-back," Ahsoka explained, but for young Mandalorian male, it was a puzzle.

"Jedi," Tristan muttered under his breath.

Ahsoka heard him, but decided to let it go; for now. Then she closed her eyes. Quickly looking back at Ursa, Alrich, and Tristan, she said, "She's not far. I can feel her! But I can also feel—"

"Ahsoka!" Sabine called. The Mandalorian artist ran out from the shadows.

"Sabine!" The Mandalorians and the Togruta called at the same time.

Tristan, Alrich, and even Ursa, practically buried her in a hug. "Mom! Dad! Tris! I'm fine! Better than fine! In fact, I'm so happy, I could burst!" Sabine said, managing to brake free of the hug full of armor.

"Oh really? And what made you so happy?" Ursa asked, a twinkle in her eyes.

Sabine turned, and motioned someone to come out of the shadows.

Ezra! Ezra did a flip, and landed neatly on the ground next to Sabine.

Ursa and Alrich gave surprised looks at each other, Ahsoka ran up to hug him, and Tristan? Why, Tristan just stood, like an idiot, mouth hanging open, eyes wide, staring at Ezra.

The Jedi saw this, and looked at Tristan, raising an eyebrow, but still smiling. Tristan started laughing, and came to shake his sisters friend's hand. "Good to see you again, Bridger," he said.

"Likewise, Tristan. And call me Ezra."

"Alright Ezra."

"You two done yet?" Sabine interrupted them. "Because I know a certain Loth-rat who's anxious to get home!"

The two men stopped talking, and looked at the Mandalorian woman who meant so much to them, but resembled different things to the other, and same things to both.

"Homeward bound!" Ezra pumped his fist in the air, making everyone laugh. Sabine walked to Ezra, and took hold of his hand.

Ursa was the only person who saw this, and smiled to herself. "She clearly loves Bridger, if she's willing to not come back to Krownest, or willing to risk death. I just hope that the two of them see it soon," she thought.

Ursa was no longer the leader of her Clan, but a Mandalorian-in-exile. And she had made her choice. She was going to stay on Lothal, maybe stay with Sabine if her daughter is fine with it, and she would heal. Then, when properly healed, she would fight to free Mandalore. Even if it meant dying in the process.

Soon, the four Mandalorians and the two Jedi were on the ship, getting ready for hyperspace.

"Ezra? The honers," Ahsoka said, inviting him to activate it. He did so, and soon, he knew, he would see his beloved home planet again.

After a while, he walked out of the room. He had pulled up a star map, and sat looking at Lothal. Sabine was sitting next to him, a huge smile appearing on her face.

She had found Ezra, and they both loved each other. Sabine was probably the happiest woman in the galaxy at that moment.

But as we all know, perfect things don't last long. In fact, things were about to get hard. What was going to happen would prove how much they cared for the other.

But mostly, it will put Sabine to the test. If she passes it, all will be well. If she doesn't, everyone she's close to, will die.

*Cue: Battle of the Heroes* (Idk why!  🤣🤣🤣)
