While walking around the richer side of the city, Jin wonders if all of this is a dream. That the old Mickey Mouse alarm clock will soon ring and Jin will wake up on his bed in his own room, proceeding to wake up Kook after that.

He then will start getting ready for the interview but a passenger will not be on time and Jin will arrive for the interview running and sweating. He will get to know that he is cancelled- rejected.

And even if he were given a second chance, then Mr Jung would not like him- he would find Jin to be inexperienced.

Jin would walk home dejected. He would resume to work in the small bakery with the kind yet sexist Baker with boys and girls ogling at him.

It was like the time you expected to get at least 60 on 100 for your math test but you ended up getting 85. Or in this case, a job at the royal castle as the Prince's caretaker.

Prince Kim Taehyung's.

The same prince he used to look at every night before going to sleep- a magazine photo or luckily, if the prince managed to come on TV.

Now he was going to be taking care of the same prince, living with him, talking to him.

No, Jin couldn't still believe it.

With the thoughtful and disbelieved look on his face, Jin didn't notice when he managed to reach his apartment block which was actually an hour walk from the public castle.

Jin wished he could delay telling the news to his mother. He didn't know how he could tell her.

That he would have to leave home. And rarely come back.

Now walking up the steps, the result of walking for an entire hour finally shows- with his leg muscles pulling at each step.

He finally manages to reach his door and he opens the lock, his body getting engulfed in an expected hug yet again.

"Hyung!! How did it go?" Jungkook asks, jumping up and down while holding Jin.

Jin's mother looks at him with a more contained expression- one that says- is everything okay?

"It went...I don't-".

"Did you not get the job? It's alright, hyung. The bakery job is still there! And I will graduate soon right? I will start working too then. Everything will be perfect. And you-".

"Jungkook, dear. Shut up". Their mother says. Jungkook immediately stops talking with an offended expression. Mother turns to Jin. "Dear, did you...?".

Jin, whose face still resembled that of a baby being denied candy, manages to mutter out a yes.

"What?" His mother asks, not hearing clearly.

"I...I got the job".

A pause.

Then;

"Holy shit! Then why the fucking low face hyung? You got me worried thinking I would have to share my ice cream with you today as you were sad! And it's chocolate ice cream! I love you, hyung but I can't share my ice cream! Though if it cheers you up... " Jungkook begins jumping up and down again- this time with happiness. His hyung had got a job at the Royal Castle. He couldn't wait to boast about it in front of his snobbish classmates. He didn't have to share his ice cream.

"Jungkook! Language". Their mother chides but no word is serious. She still can't believe what Jin just said. "You got the job? That's... wonderful! Oh my god. I can't believe it- Jin, sweetie- I knew you would get it! I am so proud of you".
