.....

This probably had been the best sleep he ever had, Jin thought while rubbing his eyes and yawning.

He hadn't received a phone yet, so he didn't have anything to set his alarm on but due to his habit of waking up early (and looking at the clock in his room right now), Jin managed to wake up at 5 am anyways.

He was supposed to report to Park Chanyeol's office to get briefed about his upcoming duties by 5:45, have his breakfast in fifteen minutes and start with his work.

Eyes getting accustomed to the room he was in, he walks towards the window and opens the latch, letting the first rays of sunshine filter in, not too strong since it was still early, but the signs of morning there- along with birds chirping.

The room was quite big and Jin remembered how Jungkook- oh no, he still hadn't gotten back to Jungkook after the call had been dropped abruptly before.

He would have to call his brother and check up on them as soon as he gets a phone.

Jin walks towards the bathroom next to take a shower and finds three towels rolled up neatly on a steel hanger as well as a geyser propped up on the wall.

Hot water.

Jin's father had installed a geyser too in one of their bathrooms and until he had been alive, the warm water used to be alive too but after his death, bills became too much and things like hot water had to be compromised.

It wasn't too cold outside to begin with so Jin settled for room temperature water itself.

Figuring out how the shower worked was a different story, something he later regretted when he accidentally turned a handle and cold water sprayed through the shower, wetting his clothes and hair.

"Jesus". Jin murmurs, undresses and quickly bathes himself, after which, he wraps a towel around his lower body and checks the closet to find neatly ironed white shirts and pants in different sizes already set up in different piles.

Dressing up (the largest sized shirt was looking too big on him but the size lower had been tight on his wide shoulders, so he had settled with the larger one) and checking at the mirror whether he looks proper, Jin sets out towards Mr Park's office.

He didn't particularly like Mr Park- he had been too cold, but he wasn't that bad either. Less talk, more action kind of guy.

The castle's staff, dressed like him, had started to randomly litter the hallways- doing odd chores like vacuuming, dusting or just taking things from one room to the other.

Jin didn't yet know where the Prince's room was, but it was in this floor for sure, according to Hoseok.

Reaching Mr Park's office, he knocks on the door and after hearing a firm "come in", he steps inside.

Mr Park is going through his files, when he looks up at Jin and nods.

"You are on time". He says, amused.

Jin gives a small smile. "I am used to waking up early, sir".

"Good for you then". Mr Park then pulls open a drawer and takes out a yellow file, handing it to Jin. "This file has all the things you need to know. Schedules, rules, allergies- all things related. Memorise the ones that are more important and keep the file near you at all times. As well as a notepad incase the Prince asks for something. You can ask Nayeon- the head, hopefully you have met her-", - Jin nods, "for that".
