Y/N GRUMBLED, A SMALL TANTRUM making its way through her. "Is it really necessary to do this? He's not even around!" She exclaimed, looking around for Shindo.
"Of course, M'lady! If we wanna sell the act, that is..." Sero said, his arm hanging limply across y/n's shoulds as he positioned his hand go lay on top of her head. "Y'know, not only your ex is watching. We have to convince the students too."
Today, the school had announced a sudden assembly, and assuming Shindo and his 'new girl' would be there, Sero thought they should go to school together.
"I'm sure they could care less but whatever..." She muttered. The girl cringed at him when she realized his chosen pet name, her squirming under the boy's touch. "And ew, don't call me that!"
"I can call you whatever I want," Sero sneered, him smirking when the girl deadpanned at the familiar words.
"You're insufferable," y/n chuffed, rolling her eyes at him.
"But you like me now, right?"
"In your dreams, Soy Sauce."

The two maneuvered through the thick crowds of people that stood idle outside the school Auditorium. Sero's eyes immediately landed on his group of friends that stood under the pavilion. He waved, flashing them his usual grin and ushered y/n forward.
She saw the familiar mustard-haired boy wave eagerly at Sero, the red-head following suit. Beside them, the pink-haired girl was talking to the blondie, seemingly trying to convince him to do something as she was jumping up and down restlessly.
