Y/N'S FISTS POUNDED on Sero's door, her voice echoing through the hall when she yelled. "Tape Dispenser, come on! I've been waiting fo—"
"What'd I say about the tape nicknames?" Sero asked, the door swinging open and cutting y/n off.
She wrinkled her nose, rolling her eyes, "I can call you whatever I want," she smirked, turning around, her hair nearly whipping him in the face. "Now hurry up!"
Sero groaned, "I'll let you off this once. Only because it's early..."
"Yeah, yeah," y/n waved him off, unconvinced.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Don't try to be all nice. I still haven't forgiven you for that stunt you pulled," she said flatly, donning gloves. "Not that thats the only thing you've done..."
"Oh, come on, it wasn't that bad!" Sero protested, setting his hands on the back on his head as he walked.
"It was dangerous!" y/n looked through the cabinets for rags to wipe the dusty surfaces with.
"It was fun!" Sero exclaimed dreamily, twirling around on his tippy toes like princess with a new dress. "I know you thought so too." He leaned in on the side of y/n's face, examining her expression. His sudden close proximity made y/n jump, her scowling at him. "Oh, and you smelled so good~," he marveled, his nose in the air as if he could smell it again. "Like pineapples and peaches and oranges and lemon and mangos and—"
"Shut up- it was not fun," y/n grumbled with gritted teeth, turning away from Sero so he wouldn't see her fight back a smile or how her cheeks heated up at his compliment.
She lied, of course. That "stunt" that Sero pulled the other day was actually one of the coolest things she'd ever done in her life.
y/n seriously felt bad for enjoying anything done by Sero, but she really couldn't help the adrenaline she felt rush through her at that moment. The way the wind flowed through their hair, the cherry blossoms flaking onto their heads and clothes, bathing them in a sweet, floral scent.
