THE GIRL RUSHED OUT OF THE ROOM, her ponytail swinging behind her. She grabbed her keys off the counter and put a hand on the doorknob, looking at the lump on the couch one final time. "I'll be back around 3! You better have done your part of the housework by then!"
Sero hummed in response, waving a hand before hearing the door click shut. He stayed bundled up under the blanket, looking out at the large windows of their apartment. The sky was a murky color and there wasn't much sunlight, causing the apartment to be bathed in a dull, silvery light. He sunk deeper into the couch, groaning.
"Man, that's some shitty weather..." He mumbled, feeling gloomy. "I know just the way to liven up the atmosphere!"

y/n slumped down in her seat, watching students file into the room at random times. Some came in quietly, others loud or late and with a drink or snack in their hands, completely disregarding the quiet environment.
The professor continued speaking, his lively voice barely registering in y/n's head. She played with the pencil in her hands, flipping it skillfully between her fingers, wondering why her mind was elsewhere instead of focusing on the lecture. She'll surely pay for it later.
Her hands moved across the blank sheet of paper as she doodled aimlessly, thinking back to the idea she had back at the assembly. Though that day wasn't the best, at least y/n got an art project idea out of it.
There was a sudden ring, a cellphone ringtone, causing y/n to jump in her seat. She looked up, watching as the professor scrambled around to find his disruptive device. He took his phone out of his bag, looking thoughtfully at the caller ID before putting a finger up at the class as if saying "One moment," and going outside to take the call.
