✈️. *. ⋆🌃. *. ⋆☁️ ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
THE GOLDEN RAYS OF THE SUN illuminated the entire apartment, barely leaving a shadow. The sound of whisking and frying bounced off the walls as y/n hummed mindlessly.
There was a small creak and then the sound of footsteps from the opposite side of the apartment.
"Gooood morning, Sunshine!" Sero greeted, stretching as he walked towards the busy girl.
"You seem like you woke up on the right side of the bed this morning," y/n said a little crankily, a smile tugging at her lips nonetheless.
"Course I did! Did you not?" Sero asked, his voice suddenly worried as he tottered over and wrapped his arms around y/n's waist, laying his chin on top of her head.
"Not when I remembered the entire day of review I have ahead of me," she sighed, looking unnerved.
Sero pulled away from her, him propping his head up on his hand as he leaned on the counter beside her. "Do you really have to review or are you just being a smart ass again?" He narrowed his eyes at the girl suspiciously.
y/n stayed quiet for a while, moving around the kitchen to avoid her roommate's scrutinizing eyes.
"Its.... necessary."
"No it's not! How about to relax for once?"
"You should be studying too! I barely see you pick up a textbook, dummy."
Sero gasped, "Okay, you didn't even have to go there. I'm trying, okay? It's just so boring and feels redundant most of the time," he whined.
Despite their different views on studying, y/n nodded, his words resonating with her. "I know, Sero, but it really does pay off."
