The girl held him closer, as if maybe the kiss could be even deeper while Hongjoong didn't dare to do something else other than hold her waist.
He knew she was probably asking for more but the black haired would not be just assuming anything, plus, he himself didn't even feel sure to do more, because what is more than just a kiss? What does it mean?

And as he wondered, he felt her giggling and going back for another kiss, Hongjoong thought it was cute the way she would smile innocently as she would run her nails down to his neck to his lower back. This went on for a couple more minutes, just kissing and small shy talk until she checked her phone.

"Fuck, Miyeon must be waiting for me" She whispered, more to herself than anything. "Listen, I loved this but I gotta hurry" She looked at the boy, confidence all over herself, which Hongjoong would admit he admired.

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry" He shook his head, understanding completely her situation as she picked up her things.

"You have no excuse to not call me" She joked once she checked her belongings were safe. "See you at school"

"See you at school..."

"Soyeon, my name is Soyeon" She smiled and waved goodbye hurriedly.

Hongjoong was left wondering, everything passed by quickly to the point he needed a moment to process everything. He asked himself if he would probably need a drink, just to feel more into the tone of the ambience surrounding him.

"At least it was better than you being back with your friends" A voice said, mockingly.

"...Well, I needed to recharge"  Hongjoong let out a bitter chuckle.

"What a great way to do it" The brown haired said sarcastically as he stood by the shorter's side.

"Shouldn't you be with your friends though or do they know you changed them?" He gave back the same attitude while for the first time in the night, Hongjoong's eyes turned to see Seonghwa.

"You really make me regret every single time I talk to you" Seonghwa rolled his eyes.

"What do you want?" Hongjoong finally opened a way to talk about the elephant in the room.  "I do feel bad, I will talk to the boys and apologise on my knees if necessary, I do regret saying everything I said" He continued

He bit his lip for a couple seconds, not sure if what to say next would actually do better but he wasn't really the one to think before speaking, so...

"And I want to apologise to you, but I know you're not here to make me apologise"

Seonghwa smiled sincerely this time, like a sudden ray of starlight.

"I just wanna talk, that's all I came for" He simply said as he shrugged, not wanting to set the mood to a serious one.

"Just talk?" Hongjoong repeated, lifting an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you're alone, I'm alone...why not?" Seonghwa's eyes drifted to the groups of people laughing and playing outside the house. "Although you didn't seem alone a couple minutes ago" He joked.

"Listen, I don't feel like fighting agai-..."

"I never said we would" He interrupted "I just thought we could get to know each other better"

Hongjoong chuckled, shook his head with a smile on his face. Not a single drop of alcohol in his system but he felt like there were more than a few drops.

"Alright then, we can start if you want" He crossed his arms on his chest, giggling when the taller panicked for a second trying to form a question or any idea as his cheeks blushed almost unnoticeably.
