Seonghwa spoke with his mouth full of his french fries after almost having to fight seven hungry boys during the second recess of the day for them to not eat them.

"You want a what?'' He asked, looking at the boy in front of him.

"A slumber party!'' Yunho repeated. "Come on! We haven't done a slumber party since aaaaaages ago'' He slowly leaned on the boy by his side, Hongjoong, who raised an eyebrow. "And it would be our first one with Seonghwa hyung''

"I thought you said you're too old for those'' Hongjoong mentioned.

"Mingi convinced me though'' The tall brown haired pointed at his same height friend.

Seonghwa bit his lip, thinking deeply. Because, while he definitely wouldn't decline the opportunity to have a sleepover with his new best friends, he had already made plans to hang out with Siyeon during the afternoon of the school fair. He was actually doing his best to get to know this girl after she seemed so excited to be with him, she even had the cutest most special details, like giving him small letters to cheer him up for the day and even greeting from afar, it was time for the boy to also give her the same energy back and see in a clearer light how things work out.

"Hyung...hyung?'' Jongho asked.

"Hyung...'' Mingi followed.

"Hwa...''

"Hm?'' Seonghwa went back to reality.

"You okay?'' Yeosang asked, a bit worried if he was being honest.

"What? Yeah! Yeah...'' He scratched his nape, a bit awkward for spacing out. "Sorry, I got carried away thinking about some stuff I have pending''

All of them nodded, not minding and understanding. But Hongjoong just noted the way Seonghwa seemed to have been spacing out a little too much these days, sometimes with a smile on his face, or sometimes just completely out of reality. He wondered what was going on through his head, was it good, or was it something Hongjoong would be able to hear someday?

He just knew braces boy was focused on whatever that thought was, and when he would go back to reality he would blush slightly and open his eyes widely for a second before going back to normal, Hongjoong sort of finds it cute...and annoying, of course.

"Jung Wooyoung'' A silhouette stood in front of the group suddenly, getting all eight of them quiet. "Your hair is far too long for the school's requirements'' The considered school police boy handed a small marked paper to the school's advisors, basically the school's director's left hand.

"Huh? But this is supposed to be my first warning...'' Wooyoung frowned, refusing to take the paper.

"I don't make the rules'' The opposite shrugged, shaking the paper as his impatience grew.

"But you can let it pass'' Wooyoung raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. "Yah, wh-...''

"It's not my problem'' The opposite boy rolled his eyes as he let the paper in Wooyoung's direction and left without a single word more.

The blonde boy cursed the whole "school police'' system under his breath, hating whatever they did because they only picked and chose whoever they didn't like.

"I'm sure she'll just tell you to cut it off'' Yeosang felt pity for his best friend.

"Ugh, why would I have to go if he already told me?'' He kept complaining.

"They are all the same, I swear'' San mentioned. "They are chosen based on how much empathy they have, which is none''

Yunho sighed and looked at the blonde boy's hair.
