Hongjoong, once again, was nowhere to be seen so far that day. He only sent a message to Seonghwa that they could work their project during class because he would be busy during the break.

The group already understood he was with his friends, however, it felt quite unusual not having him after they expected to see him more often after some weeks passed when he came back from his trip. They didn't want to give it too much thought about it because at least Hongjoong joined them at the end of the day and replied in the group chat Seonghwa also was added to a few days ago.

"How did you all even meet?" Seonghwa asked when the WooSang duo kept bickering during lunch but still bragged how they shared almost every class for almost 10 whole years.

"Well..." Yeosang started.

"You better not twist the story, or I'll fight you, I really will fight you..." Wooyoung threatened and Yeosang just turn his head towards his older friend as if nothing happened.

"So this bitch..."

"You're lucky Hongjoong isn't here"

"Okay, okay, I'll be serious this time" Yeosang laughed at Seonghwa's impatient expression.

"So, it was sixth or maybe fifth grade, the first day of class and, of course, there were lots of new students that year..."

One of them was a boy, not really outstanding, to be honest. But something in the way he looked around, analyzing every face he encountered and his shy smile shone, caught Yeosang's attention.

The few first days, Wooyoung didn't really pay much attention to the kids who talked to him, mostly he would just sit by Yeonjun's side, a friend he has to this day. While on the other hand, Yeeosang would just stay with his own group, not really interested to change it.

However, it didn't take long for the teacher to change the seating arrangement so everyone could "meet each other better'', so the obvious happened, Wooyoung got sat next to Yeosang, a seemingly quiet boy next to an even quieter one. But it did change as the day went by, because when the Korean language teacher assigned them a small activity to work on their books, the boy turned to one by his side.

"My name is Wooyoung" He suddenly introduced himself.

"I know...you're new" Yeosang simply answered, not even sparing a glance to him.

"Do you like trucks?" He asked, leaving his book aside.

Yeosang seemed to think about it for a couple seconds.

"No, they're too loud"

"Hm? But you like trains" Wooyoung pouted, noticing the opposite's backpack being literally filled with drawings of trains.

"So?" Yeosang frowned, suddenly being questioned for his taste.

"Trains are noisier"

"What do you mean? No, they're not"

"Yeah! They're like "Chchchch" all the way, while trucks just go "honk honk" once in a while and that's it"

Yeosang kept quiet again, he seemed a bit bothered by the younger's words.

"You're weird"

"But I think you're really funny because when I saw you playing with Hyun Suk-..." Wooyoung noticed Yeosang would not be looking at him at all "Doesn't matter, I'm sorry..."

Although the honey haired got confused at first at how the conversation ended, he decided not to say a word, giving the impression he didn't mind.
