The girl smiled shyly, not brave enough yet to touch Seonghwa's hands and hold them as she would like to.
"Seonghwa-yah...will you walk me home today?'' Siyeon asked, her hands behind her back as they walked around the park near the school.
"Of course! I can say hi to your mom as well'' Seonghwa smiled back, feeling his own cheeks turn bright red and his heart almost beating a beat.
"Hyung, why are we even here?'' Wooyoung asked in an almost whisper, a big grimace on his face as he saw the two lovey doveys a few meters in front of them.
"I don't think they forgot we're behind them, right?'' Yeosang mentioned, same face as his friend.
Hongjoong only tightened his grip on his backpack's strip as Seonghwa talked excitedly to Siyeon about how his braces would be taken off the day before the school fair, something Hongjoong took pride in knowing before the dyed blonde-haired girl.
However, what got the boy with glasses frowning, was the way Seonghwa told him what his situation thingy was with the girl, he didn't tell Yunho, neither Wooyoung, nor Jongho...only him. And while, he appreciated the trust, he wasn't sure the reason of it, it doesn't bother him, Hongjoong would say he didn't really care if you asked him, but he was frowning because Seonghwa had the need to tell him for some reason, he assumed perhaps the older wanted to save himself from the teasing he would get with the rest.
The black-haired boy could laugh at that last thought though, now he had the three youngers by his side cringing because, they did knew Siyeon would be joining them for a couple hours in the hangout they had before going back from, but the "little couple'' a couple steps ahead of them were in their own little world.
"...Yeah, maybe let's just say goodbye for today'' Hongjoong said, almost like an order because the three boys by his side straightened their posture and almost left immediately. "Say bye first, you dumb dumbs'' He rolled his eyes, grabbing Yeosang by his backpack, who was the first to start walking the other way.
"I'll let hyung know'' Mingi took the first step towards the pair, uncomfortably interrupting their chit-that with whatever he said that made Seonghwa react with his eyes wide open and shaking his head, but when he looked behind and saw them, he spared one last glance at Mingi and nodded as he said Hongjoong couldn't quite read of off his lips.
And Seonghwa watched them leave, he made sure to wave them goodbye even from the distance. He was about to tell them to stay, but when he realized maybe it wasn't a great idea once he saw Hongjoong waiting, so he just let them go and reminded himself to talk to be clear about this...thing he shared with the girl by his side.

He looked at his laptop screen, hesitant to even look up what he had in mind. His math homework was still pending and ready to be done for tomorrow, yet curiosity killed the cat. Even if in his mind a stupid quiz would never actually determine something so complex.
Hongjoong sighed and clicked on the page finally "Am I Gay? Take this Quiz to find out!''
"Question 1: Have you ever kissed someone of the same sex or thought about it?''
"I don't think so...'' He said to himself. "I mean...''
The boy frowned, feeling his cheeks starting to burn at the simple idea.
But no, he has never.
No
He clicked.
