KINGSTON

I sent the text that said I was outside and leaned against the door as I waited. I stuffed my hands into the pockets on my hoodie and licked my lips, throwing my head in the air. It was cold as fuck and Si was taking her sweet ass time opening the door. She had been giving me petty silent treatment since I told her I was leaving school a week ago, but now since it was the night before she was leaving to go back she wanted to see me. And of course, here I was.

The door opened and she turned her back instantly for me to follow her. I chuckled with no amusement for her greeting, or lack there of, and looked around the dark and quiet living room before following her up the steps. It was one in the morning, but I wouldn't put it past Trey to still be up. That nigga could smell me it seemed like.

Once in her room and on the other side of the door, I removed my hoodie and buttas, rubbing my hands together at the warmth of her bedroom. I watched her strip herself of the sweat pants she wore down to her black Calvin Klein panties that matched her sports bra. I locked the door and stripped down to my black Calvin Klein boxers and caught Si put her head down to hide her reddened cheeks, but I couldn't have given less than a fuck. I laid my jeans beside the bed just in case I had to throw them on quickly and slid in beside her.

"You didn't tell me to come over here so you could keep giving me the silent treatment so cut it the fuck out," I said even though I tried not to show how irritated I was.

"I told you to come over because I figured you might miss me since I'm going back to school tomorrow and you're not," she whispered back not missing a beat and even from behind her I could feel her eye roll.

"You wasn't worried about me , so I don't need no favors shawty." I told her and she turned her body to face me, trying her hardest to suppress a smile that I didn't return.

Her face softened slightly when she realized she was the only one playing.

"You really mad at me?" She asked and I didn't respond, only huffed prepared to stand and dip, but she grabbed my arm. "Wait, I'm sorry,"

The bored expression on my face made her sigh.

"The baby shit is going to get old real fast," I admitted. "You took a decision I had to make for myself about my life and made it about you and didn't talk to me for a week. Literally. Now you think you gon sit in my face and pout and that's it?" I asked. "I'm sorry?" I mocked and she blew air out of her nose and rolled her eyes like I was being dramatic.

"I was trying to get used to how things were going to be anyway. I didn't think you would be this mad--"

"You sound stupid as shit. And I know you didn't because you only think about you. You didn't think maybe it was hard enough to decide to leave in the middle of my junior year knowing I'm almost done? You didn't think maybe I was going to miss you too and wanted to spend as much time with you that I could? No. You decided to ignore my calls and leave me on read until you felt like calling. The day before you leave. Just to pout and say sorry. Siena please don't piss me off. "

"I'ma piss you off because I feel a way that my nigga isn't coming back to school? I'm selfish because I don't want you to throw all the shit you worked for away because of the fucking basketball team? School was fucking fine for you yet when I come now you're dropping out." She said and I could tell she had been holding the last sentence in and spilled it by accident by the way her eyes lowered to the bohemian print on her blanket. I  wanted to ask her if that's why she was really mad, but it wasn't going to come out nicely so we were lucky when a text came in on her phone lighting it up in the darkness between us.
