Jisung's parents had not yet returned when we arrived, so we immediately went up to Jisung's room, passing through the guest room to drop off my things.
In this room I know well, on this big bed with the sheets of a warm blue which is reflected on the white walls, at least the few walls we can see under all the posters of anime. A nightstand full of books of all genres is arranged next to the bed, next to a plushie Jisung adores and without which he can't sleep. In front of me, on the left of the door, a wardrobe that I know is full of piled up clothes, each one weirder than the other. His office is not filled with school books, which are on the floor, but with his mixing board and his notebooks full of texts and drawings.
Jisung and I are sitting on the bed, facing Minho who can't calm down. He keeps muttering under his non-existent beard various insults and what I understand to be plans to run away with me. I laugh at it, even though I'm concerned. I'm afraid Minho will abandon me, leave because this is all way too complicated. It's only in fairy tales or movies that this kind of teenage love story works. However, we are neither in a book, nor behind a camera.
Jisung notices my concern and leans towards me, not being noticed by Minho who continues his little show.

- What's the matter ?
I glance quickly at Minho as an only answer, and surprisingly, Jisung understands.
- You know, I've never seen Minho like this before. The way he looks at you, the way he braves his shyness for you... I would be almost more afraid of you leaving him than the other way around.
He winks at me then stands up, grabbing Minho by the shoulders to make their eyes meet.
- Hey! The hyperactive! He's gone from home now, so stop thinking about your romantic runaway and sit down!

Minho lowers his head with an amused smirk.
- Sorry! It's just... it annoys me!

The front door opens, and Jisung rushes to his bedroom door.
- Hello, we're upstairs!
The person who entered climbs the stairs and Jisung's mother walks into the room, greeting us.
- Mom, this is Minho!

The two strangers bow to each other and Jisung's mother looks then at me.
- Haneul! It's been a while since we crossed paths! Oh, what happened to your hair?
I wince, having forgotten this detail.

- Uh... mom...
Jisung's mother turns to her son.
- Could you call him Changbin, do you think? And like... actually, he's a boy... uh...

The woman looks puzzled, but waves her hand.
- I don't understand much, and it will be necessary to explain me... But for the moment it is absolutely necessary to take care of this hair which is a mess!
I laugh, happy.

After a good half an hour in the bathroom, explaining to Jisung's mother, Sooji, the ins and outs of this story as she cuts my hair, I walk into the room where my two friends are waiting for me, discussing.
They turn to me and I try to take a neutral, almost jaded gaze. But inside, I jump everywhere, completely under the spell of my new cut. The two young men remain frozen, contemplating the result.

- If I wasn't straight I think you would be the person I would invite to the most expensive restaurant in town.
Jisung's pick-up line makes me laugh as Minho nudges him.

The oldest of us gets up and walks over to me. He runs his thin fingers over the shaved part of my head, before letting them wander through what remains of my hair on the back of my head. He smiles and rests his forehead against mine, closing his eyes to enjoy the feel of my freshly cut hair under his fingers and mingling our breaths gently.

- You are beautiful, Changbin...
I chuckle and he opens his eyes to dive into mine before placing a soft kiss on my lips.

- Hey ho! I don't want to cut the moment but I'm here, eh!
Complains Jisung.

- What? Do you want a kiss too?
Chuckles Minho, turning his head towards him, still sitting on the bed.

- If it's asked so nicely...
Jisung stands up, shrugging his shoulders.

Minho pushes him back onto the bed.
- Get out, Sung!

Said Sung laughs, and we follow him.
