"Jess! Jess! JESSICA!" Harry said and shook me.

"Ok, ok I'm up." I sat up and rolled my neck until it popped. I smiled and stepped into my closet. I picked out a white capped-sleeve dress with a matching light brown leather braided belt. I straightened my hair and bumped my bangs. I slipped my feet into a pair of light brown ankle length cowboy boots. I stepped out of my closet, watching Harry examine himself in the mirror. I giggled and examined Harry's face before we headed down to our mothers. Jesus, it was a full-blown bruise. "Again, I'm sorry for that."

"It's cool." He smiled calmly. I giggled and kissed the bruise on his cheek.

"Do we still hate each other?" I asked. His eyes began to wander around the room. Probably hard for him to answer that with my arms around his neck.

"I don't know, do we?" He tilted his head.

"For awhile." I winked, "I'll figure something out." I smirked and headed down the stairs.

"Bye Mum!" I called and grabbed my bookbag and hopped in Zayn's front seat as usual. He smiled at me as I plopped down. He pecked my lips and I giggled and grabbed his shirt front. I pulled him for long, rough kiss. "I'm in a really good mood." I smirked and tugged on his lip. I heard someone clear their throat. There was Liam and two little girls in the back.

"Hey Jessica." Liam chuckled, his cheeks bright red.

"Hey Liam." I blushed and looked down.

"Um...Jessica these are my sisters Safaa and Waliyha, girls this is my...girlfriend Jessica." Zayn said quietly and the girls waved shyly.

"Well," I clasped my hands together, "this is awkward." I groaned and sank in the front seat. I grabbed Zayn's jacket and threw it over my face in humiliation. I felt the car come to a stop. The door opened and I heard the sound of kids and squeals and screams. The door closed.

"JESSICA." Liam screetched in my ear as I jumped nearly fifty feet.

"Liam, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU." I screamed and pulled the jacket from my face.

"What happened to your good mood?" Liam giggled and stuck his tongue out at me.

"I will cut that tongue off, boy!" I snapped and his mouth shut instantly. Zayn scoffed and pressed the car forward. Liam and I kept exchanging glares as we made it to the school. Zayn opened the car door for me. We sat where we usually did as we waited for school to start. Then came "the three best friends" Lou, Niall, and Harry. Normal glares from Lou, no surprise. Niall smiled at me as usual and Harry gave me a sly, knowing wink. I smirked and pulled Zayn up to his face so I could get to my locker. Emily walked up to Liam with a piece of paper folded in her manicured claws.

"Hey babe." Liam smiled.

"Yeah hi," She shrugged and turned to me, "You, Zayn's girlfriend." She said.

"Jessica." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, Jessica whatever." She said obnoxiously, "You're like a musical geek right?"

"I'm a musician, not a geek." I said irritably.

"Yeah uh huh, whatever." She rolled her eyes.

"Is there a point behind this conversation?" I growled.

"You play the um..." She scratched her head and put he fingers in front of her face and pretended to press keys.

"Trumpet?" I rolled my eyes and she smiled and snapped her fingers.

"Yeah that's it!" She laughed.

"Yes I can play trumpet." I scratched the back of my neck.

"Well we need one for that assignment in gym, you know with the dancing?" She said.

"Can you get me the sheet music?" I asked.

"The what?" She groaned and rubbed her forehead. I rolled my eyes and plucked the paper out her hands and unfolded it. At the top it said "50 Ways To Say Goodbye, First Trumpet".

"This is sheet music." I showed her, "Tell Harry I say thank you." I rolled my eyes and walked off with Zayn. "I think I just got knocked down a few IQ points." I laughed. Zayn smirked and shook his head.

"Sometimes I don't understand your nerd jokes." He chuckled.

"Nerd?! excuse me?!" I said.

"Well, yeah...I mean-"

"I don't wanna hear it." I put my hand up to his face and walked into History. "Hello boys." I said to the boys and sat between Harry and Niall.

"All students to the auditorium for talent show auditions." The old speakers crackled. I smiled and cracked my neck as I stood. I walked out of the room last, waiting for Zayn. I looked around and couldn't find him in sight. I finally made it to the door where he was waiting.

"Hey." I said and he grabbed my hand. I smiled as we walked to our seat.

"Hurry up!" Someone growled from behind us. I turned around and Louis scowled at us.

"Dude. Shut up." Zayn growled.

"Idiot." Someone said, but it wasn't Louis.

"Dude what the Hell?" Zayn snapped at Louis. Louis rolled his eyes.

"I didn't say anything." Louis grumbled.

"You're a fucking liar!" Zayn stopped prepared to fight.

"God damnit do not start anything." I screamed and dug my nails in his palm.

"That hurts!" He yelled at me.

"No shit, idiot." I rolled my eyes and pushed him forward, standing in the gap between him and Louis. "You two are both fucking immature." I snapped at them both. I pushed Zayn forward like I was his mother.

"Excuse me?!" Louis said.

"You heard me." I growled with my finger in his face. I finally made it to my seat beside Zayn, "You're a child." I snapped furiously and ignored his reply. Mrs. Friedman held herself with dignity as she carried herself to the microphone.

"Jessica Andrews, please come to the stage." She said and soon picked me out of the crowd and smiled down at me. What the Hell?! What did I do?! I didn't...sign up. Crap. I groaned and pulled myself up from my seat. I trudged up the stage and met Mrs. Friedman backstage.

"What am I doing here?" I groaned as she handed me a guitar.

"I believe in you, Jessica. You can do it." She said simply.

"But..." She gave me a 'no buts' look. I sighed as a stage hand help me clip a microphone to my ear.

"Mind speaking into the microphone for a test?" The stage hand asked.

"This is for you, Lou." My voice rang through the auditorium. Which the crowd erupted in whispers like "Who is Lou?" "Did anyone just hear that?" "Who said that?". I rolled my eyes and dragged myself onto the stage with my guitar on my back. "Hey guys, I'm Jessica. This is for someone special." I said as my eyes wandered through the crowd. I finally found Lou's eyes and my lips turned into a small smile. His eyes were filled with intrigue. I started strumming the six-string. The all-to-familiar "The A-team" by Ed Sheeran. Please hear this Lou.
