as i walk into the school with the boys, i whisper to james 'yo man i'll give you 1 galleon if more girls fall for you.' 'easy' says james 'you like remus anyway.' i blush. nobody in the school knows i came out gay, and i don't know what they'll do if they know. you know, it's kinda nice having all the girls run after you and have battles to be with you. 'hey guys, we don't tell anyone that me and remus have come out yeah? we'll leave it for now and see how it goes.' 'yeah sure' everyone says. i see remus look at me and when i give eye contact, he looks away and blushes. i blush too, i can't help it. it's quiet in the corridors cause everyone's went back to having their lessons. dumbledore said we could choose which common room and dorms we'd like to use. 'so guys,' james says, 'which common room are we gonna use?' 'i think ravenclaw.' remus says. 'shut up just cause all the girls like you in there, i think gryffindor.' i say. 'yeah and your choosing gryffindor because all the girls like you and james in there.' remus shoots back. we both blush and look away. 'oh come on guys, i think we should just have a vote. so gryffindor' james, peter and i put our hands up. remus sighs. 'sorry man,' james says 'but you just got outvoted. 'that's alright' remus says and looks over at me. i look away. we head off to the gryffindor common room where all the gryffindors have prepared a surprise. there was a huge banner saying 'welcome marauders!! we knew you'd choose gryffindor.' just before all the girls run up to james and i, i hear him whisper 'let's see who gets the 1 galleon then.' i nod and greet all the girls coming my way. right now, it seems like more girls are coming to me, i'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.
