"Nat." I smiled as another tear slipped down my cheek. She wiped it away. "I'm so glad you're awake." I told her. "How long was I unconscious?" she asked.
"More than a month. Bruce didn't know when you'd wake up so I'm pretty happy that you woke up this quickly." I said. She smiled softly at me before she tried sitting up.
She winced in pain and I helped her sit in a comfortable position. "What happened to you?" I asked her and pointed to her wound that was covered by bandages.
"I think your Dad and I Split up so we could take down more men in a shorter time. I was on my way out of the building when a man stopped me and pointed his gun at me. I tried escaping but he shot me." she explained.
"Did you see his face?" I asked her clenching my jaw. "Yeah. He had black hair and he was taller than me. He was wearing a brown uniform. That's all I remember." she said.
"I will find him and I will make him pay for what he did to you." I stated. "I know." she said softly, making me look at her confused. "I heard everything you said." she explained.
My face went bright red. "I uhm-" I stuttered but she interrupted me. "Don't worry, I thought it was cute. I couldn't really tell if you were with me this entire time but I knew that someone had been with me all along. So when Clint told you to talk to me because you were there the entire time and you hadn't said a word to me, I knew that you really cared for me." she smiled.
I blushed as my head shot up. "Oh my god, I should get Bruce." I exclaimed before I ran out the door and dragged Bruce to Nat's room. "Oh, Nat!" he exclaimed happily.
She simply smiled at him while he checked her vitals. "Everything seems to be okay. You've healed pretty nicely." he told her making me smile proudly.
"When will I be able to go on missions again?" Nat asked. "Uh, I'm afraid you will need to rest for a while longer. You've been shot a month ago and I wouldn't recommend stressing your body like that. Plus you will have to train again once you're released from here." Bruce said.
"But what about the guy that shot me?" she asked angrily. "Nat, the more you let your Body recover the more it is likely for you to beat that guy." I stated.
She looked at me and sighed. "Yeah, you guys are right. Sorry." she apologized. "I suggest you to train with Althea once your body is stable enough." Bruce said.
Nat and I looked at each other and I smiled at her. "That's probably for the best. You've trained me pretty well and now I'll be able to train you in return." I said.
She nodded. "Alright. When do we start?"
