Two weeks after Nat woke up from her coma, we started training. It was hard for her at first because she hasn't trained in two months. I tried going slow on her but she assured me she was fine.

"Al, you can't train me like that. I'm used to hard training and you're going all soft on me." she said. I sighed. "You just got out of the hospital. I don't want you in there any time soon again." I answered.

"I get that but if I really want to go on missions again no one will be gentle." she told me. "Alright. But if you even wince in pain once, we're going slow again." I decided and pointed at her.

She smiled and we started training again, this time I didn't go soft on her. She did pretty good until I swiped my leg under her feet, making her fall on her back.

She winced but tried to cover it up. "Oh god, Nat, are you okay?" I asked worried. She nodded but she grimaced. "We'll take a break so you can rest for a few minutes." I decided.

She wanted to protest but I shushed her. I helped her sit down on a bench and I gave her a bottle of water. "Thanks." she mumbled before taking a sip.

"We're going soft again." I stated. "But Al-" she started. "No, Nat. You were in a coma for more than a month. I can't see you laying in a hospital bed unconscious again. It hurt me in ways I didn't know were possible." I said.

She looked at me quizzically and I realized what I had just said, causing my cheeks to go bright red. "Why was it so hard for you?" She asked.

"I- I need to go." I stuttered and ran out of the training room. "Loki" I screamed as I banged on his door. He opened the door looking like he had been asleep until now.

"What's wrong?" he asked rubbing his eyes. I walked past him into his room and plopped down on the bed. "I think Natasha knows I like her." I mumbled.

His face lit up. "That's amazing!" he exclaimed. "No it's not." I said. He frowned and sat down next to me. "Why don't you think it's amazing?" he asked.

"First of all, I didn't want her to find out this way. Second of all, I didn't want her to find out at all." I told him. "Well, why don't you think about it as a good thing? Maybe she feels the same thing." he said.

"No, she didn't say a word. She probably thinks I'm weird now." I mumbled as tears started to form in my eyes. "Then act like it never happened." He suggested shrugging.

"This may be the only option I have left." I sighed. "Why don't you lay down and rest for a bit? The last few weeks weren't easy for you and you need some time for yourself." he suggested.

"Yeah, you're probably right." I mumbled. I stood up, hugged him and left to go to my room.
