I was walking back to my own room when I heard soft cries coming from Wanda's room. I debated going in but chose too I knocked softly on the door then I heard a faint "come in"
I walked further into her room to see her sat on the bed she looked unhappy. "What's wrong?" I asked. She looked at me for a brief second and then sighed "I just feel alone, lost and I'm just not sure what to do" she answered truthfully.
"Moving to a new completely foreign country is difficult, Pietro has adjusted much better than I have" she admitted sighing and crossing her arms, leaning her head on them. I sat next to her on the bed rubbing her forearms comfortingly.
"I know change is scary and it may take longer to adjust but I promise you will and you will never be lonely if I'm around" I smiled at her as she leaned in and warily hugged me. "If you aren't completely exhausted how about we go out for a bit, maybe shopping and grab some dinner" I suggested.
She nodded getting up and grabbing her wallet, phone and keys and then accompanied me to my room where I grabbed my necessities.
Shopping with Wanda was natural after we got past the first awkward 10 to 15 minutes we were both having a blast. Dinner after was a lot of fun too and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a fun time.
She thanked me profusely at the end of the night. We walked into the tower laughing and eating ice cream. Sat at the stairs connecting the two living quarters were a sulking pair consisting of Pietro and Nat.
"Why weren't we invited?" Pietro asked frowning. "Oh erm, Wanda said so" I quickly said pointing at her she looked at me wide-eyed and laughed shaking her head quickly. "Whatever" Pietro said racing away.
"Huh what" I heard next to me and I realised Pietro had stolen mine and Wanda's ice-creams. I looked at Nat who pouted "we can go again soon" I reasoned and Nat sighed contently. She grabbed mine and Wanda's arms and dragged us all to her room where we all spent the night eating more junk, watching movies and getting to know each other better.
