"Thank you all for coming tonight" he started "tonight's party had a motive" he continued glancing down at me "not that I always need one" he laughed as people also laughed around him.
"Some of you appear to know, however others don't," he said glancing towards a woman who had approached him earlier for an over-friendly conversation, she looked confused and simply sipped her champagne.
"This right here is my girlfriend," he said getting to the point a few cheers erupted from the crowd probably from Pietro and Clint both men were interesting individuals and together they had an even more interesting personality, the pair were inseparable despite their constant bickering.
"I wanted to publicly announce this after a not so great incident a few days ago," he said looking at the scar on my lip which I had covered with some lipstick probably not well enough.
"She's an amazing woman and I'm surprised she's stuck through" he laughed earning some chuckles from the crowd "I'd be lying if I said she didn't adore me though" he winked and I playfully hit his chest.
"I guess you could say I've grown quite an attachment to her, surprising right," he said earning a few awes from the crowd now.
"Now I hope everyone enjoys their night and please don't be shy to get drunk" he laughed as he held his glass in the air "cheers" he called out and I nodded my glass in the air as well.
"Cute speech" I giggled as the crowd resumed their conversations "an attachment huh?" I asked "oh shut up" he joked. I leaned upwards giving him a sweet kiss.
