Zoey's Epic Nightmare

It was after Halloween, and Zoey, Henry, Kipper, Gramps and Wonderbeam were all back at the light house.

"What an adventure, I'm glad it's over!" Said Henry

"Same" Zoey replied

"Bet I got more candy then youuuuu." Henry teased

"Nuh uh!" Zoey said

And they raced upstairs.

"I hope they don't eat too much." Wonderbeam worried

"Ah they'll be fine honey, hehe. I hope" Gramps said not entirely sure

"Ok Zoey, we've eaten half of both bags. I'm done." Henry said patting his stomach

"Oh okay" Zoey said, however she had eaten way more, but would regret her decision.

Zoey went to the living room.

"Hey Gramps, watcha watching?"

"Gaaaah!" Gramps excaimed, pausing the TV

"Oh just a movie much too scary for you."

"But I'm a superhero. Shouldn't I be able to handle it?"

"You are, but you're also a child sweetie. It'd still be too scary for you."

"Oh alright!" She said unbeknownst to him, she continued watching.

"Alright, time for bed you two." Said Gramps

"Awwwwwwww" they whined

"Come on" Gramps chuckled

And so they brushed their teeth, took showers, and went to bed.

(Nightmare)

"Zoey wake up we gotta get going! That book we found escaped Beam Control, and is causing mayhem!" Gramps burst in

"What!?" What's going on?" Zoey asked

"No time to explain get up quickly!" Zoey did so, and for some reason, was in her regular clothes.

They ran downstairs while Kipper flew. Henry and Wonderbeam were there as well.

"Great now we can go." Wonderbeam said

"What's happening?" Then she looked out the window.

Absolute Carnage.

Bodies lay in the streets, people were running in the street, Sheriff cars, Police cars, fire engines and ambulances racing about or abandoned completely, with their drivers turned, and Cosmic Crusher trying to fight for his life.

But that was nothing compared to what the trouble makers were.

The Train to Busan Korean zombies, as well as Somerset citizens turned, all causing chaos.

"What is happening!" Zoey screamed

"Zombies." Gramps answered

"Don't try to turn into Starbeam either, for some reason, superheroes are malfunctioning." Gramps said

"But we have to get to the Town Hall, come on." Urged Gramps

They all got in his red 80s truck, and headed down, but they didn't make it far. Soon, the road was blocked.

"What do we do now?" Zoey asked

"We'll have to get out and walk. It might be dangerous, but it's our only option."

They started walking for a while, careful not to alert the unusually quick zombies, but it was futile.

A group found them and started awkwardly, but quickly running towards them. They came across a blocked road, completely unable to go further.

Gramps shoved them into a nearby car, also somehow locking it.

Take a moment
(Gramps starts shooting and killing some of them)

Take a breath
(Gramps runs out of ammo)

Make a plan
(He starts trying to fight them with his fists)

And try your best
(Gramps gets devoured)

After Gramps unfortunate death, came more violence.

Wonderbeam and Henry were both grabbed through the windows and reached the same fate.

Zoey lay in between the front and back seats crying.

That was when she woke.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Zoey screamed

Henry shot straight up in Zoey's bed.

"What's wrong Zoey? Why are you-"

Zoey hugs him tightly, and Henry just sat there.

Gramps frantically came in, again, with his gun.

"Graaaaaaaamps!" Zoey cried

"Hey, hey Shhhh it's ok, Gramps is here. Did you have another nightmare?"

"Y-yeah"

Just then Wonderbeam, walked in.

"What's wrong honey? I heard you scream."

Zoey then explained everything.

"Well there's no need to worry now Zoe-Zoe, you're safe, and besides, zombies don't exist." Gramps reassured

"Yeah, and even if they did, I'm sure we would be well prepared." Said Henry

"We sure would sweetie, in fact Beam Control actually has a plan for that sort of thing." Gramps said

"But it looks like eating all that candy wasn't a good idea after all was it? That candy made you have your nightmare." Gramps somewhat scolded her.

"Well, uhh- IMSORRYGRAMPSI WATCHEDTHATSCARYMOVIE!"

"I see. I told you it was too scary for
you."

"I-I know, I'm sorry. But I'm still too scared even with Henry here. Could I sleep with you tonight?"

"Tell you what, why don't you, Kipper and Henry come downstairs with me and watch TV with me until you go to sleep?"

And so, they went into the living room, and set up a nest. The movie Cars was playing on TV, and after that they went to sleep.

I'm sorry this wasn't very long, but like I said I simply don't want to do 8 chapters, however I tried my best to keep it as close to your suggestion as possible.
