"Alright, maybe you weren't so bad after all," Will said and I scoffed loudly.

"Maybe? I won three out of three times!" I exclaimed and he chuckled slightly, before hearing a knock on my bedroom door. "Come in." The door opened and Hazel peaked inside.

"Dad told me to let you both know that William's father is here." Will stood up while I raised a brow.

"Why didn't he tell us himself?"

"Because he is pretending to be sick, I think he wants to avoid the man for some reason," she answered and I chuckled while Will sighed.

"Does he really hate him that much? I know he can be a pain, but seriously?" Will said and she looked at him for a while. Eyes focused as she examined him and he seemed to be uncomfortable.

"Hazel." I warned and she looked over at me with a sigh. Without another word, she left and Will turned to me again.

"I guess I should go... see you at school?" He asked and I smiled.

"You bet." he nodded to me one last time before hurrying out and I slumped down on my bed. I had known him for less than three days and yet I had told him about Bianca and mom. I have only told Jason and Reyna and that was after knowing them for months. Why the hell was it so easy to talk to Will?

The bedroom door opened and Hazel entered, laying down next to me with a sigh. She nudged her head to my side just like she did when she was younger and I wrapped my arm around her, placing a kiss on her hair.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" she asked and I sighed.

"I don't know Hazel. He's different and very nice to be around." I whispered and she hummed.

"Just be careful. I don't want you to get hurt." at that, I smiled.

"I know, I will be careful. Is that all you wanted to say?" I asked and she looked up at me, looking stressed for some reason.

"Do you think Frank likes me?" she sat up to get a better look at me and I followed pursuit.

"I think he does, I also think he would be stupid not to. Let me guess, you're thinking about finally asking him out." she nodded slowly with a blush spreading over her cheeks and I smiled. "I think you should go for it. Frank is a good guy and he would be lucky to have you."

"Thanks, Neeks." she said before leaving the room, allowing my thoughts to go back to the blond.

"You're not sleeping with that Di Angelo kid, right?" Apollo asked and my head snapped up from looking at my dinner.

"Dad!" I exclaimed and my mom put a hand on my arm.

"What your father meant is, are you being safe?" she asked and my jaw dropped. Kayla and Austin were snickering next to me while our parents remained serious.

"I don't need to be that kind of safe because I am NOT sleeping with Nico Di Angelo." I clarified while my cheeks heated up.

"Only in your dreams." Kayla mumbled, just loud enough for me to here, but quiet enough for our parents not to. I quickly elbowed her in the side and she groaned. "What? It's true. Don't you think I've noticed how you stare at him from afar?" she asked and I blushed more while Austin smiled.

"We are not discussing that right now." I said and everyone went quiet, but it wasn't a comfortable silence. I quickly finished my food and excused myself before hurrying to my room.

Everything was a mess, except for my clean and made bed. I shut the details out as I stared at my phone laying on the bed, screen lit up from a new notification. I closed the door and laid down, grabbing the phone as I did.

Three new notifications. A text from Lou, a notification that Moriah Elisabeth has posted a new video (I like art, sue me), and the newest one. A text from Nico.

My first instinct was to check Nico's, but then I realized that I might seem too eager if I do that, so instead I checked the one from Lou.

Lou: Can you send me your notes for the English test tomorrow?

Me: You mean you want me to let you cheat off of me.

Lou: Tomato Tomahto. Can you send it, please?

Me: You could always study, you know

Lou: B. O. R. I. N. G. Are you going to answer the question or not?

' You sent Lou a photo'

Lou: Thank you!!

I rolled my eyes at my friend, before leaving that chat and entering the other.

Nico AHHH: Wanna talk later?

Three simple words were enough to make my heart flutter. Of course I want to talk to him, but am I supposed to call him, or would that seem desperate? I could of course ask when he wants to talk, but then I might seem insecure. I finally decided on just sending a thumb up, regretting the decision immediately.

The thumb could be interpreted in a "I'm not that interested" kind of way, or it could be interpreted in a "I am so fricking interested, it's almost scary" way.

Or maybe he isn't reading into this as much as I am and I should calm down. The phone started ringing and I almost screamed when I saw his name.

"Yes." I said before frowning. Yes what? It's not like I said it in a question either so what the hell.

"Are you always so good at conversating?" he teased and I blushed, thanking the gods he couldn't see it.

"Apparently." I answered honestly. "So, what's up?" I continued and I could almost hear him shrug.

"Not much, just helped my sister prepare for tomorrow." he answered and I smiled.

"Help her with what?"

"She decided that she is finally going to ask her crush out." he said and my smile grew. About time she and Frank got together, considering how they have been pining for each other for ages.

Then an idea struck. This was the perfect time for me to ask my crush out. I mean, love is in the air and we're on a call, why the hell not.

"Speaking of asking crushes out..." I stopped when the door to my room opened and my dad stepped inside.

"Look kid, I know I was pestering y... is that him right now. Oh no, you're having phone sex right now aren't you!" he exclaimed and I quickly muted myself.

"Dad! No-"

"No, you listen to me kid. I know what it's like in that hormonal teenage brain you got, but I do not think this is the way to go. I understand that you are starting to get interested in such things but I want to set up some ground rules then."

"Dad-"

"No. I am fine with you... doing the deed. As long as you are safe and it is not under my roo-" now I was the one to cut him off.

"Jesus Christ dad. I am not sleeping with Nico Di Angelo!" I exclaimed and the room got silent. Cutting the silence off was Nico himself.

"I can second that, sir." I heard him say and my head snapped, looking down at the phone and realizing that I had missed the mute button.

"Please tell me you didn't hear that." I asked, knowing full well he did.

"Sorry sunshine. I was going to tell you that you werent muted as soon as your dad started speaking of ground rules, but it was hard to get a word in... no offense to you Mr. Solace." he said and I groaned while my dad chuckled nervously.

"None taken, Mr. Di Angelo."
