Will's plan was actually pretty good. We'd meet out of school and out of the gossiping. He'd have Cecil, whom his parents trust a lot, tell back him up in saying he is doing something other than meeting me. That way we could hang out without getting him into trouble, though this was all still a bit risky since if his parents found out, they would be pissed.
And so far, it has worked. His parents don't know anything is off and we can see each other. Just yesterday, we finally tried the whole date thing again after almost two weeks.
We went to the library and found a corner where we could talk properly and it was quite nice... who am I kidding, it was amazing.
We decide when and where to meet quite randomly and then leave notes to one another since his parents might see if we text.
"Nico?" a voice asked, bringing me out of my thoughts and I looked up to see Percy looking at me as we sat at the lunch table.
"Yes?" I asked and he grinned, glad I was back in the game.
"I said that you should go to my swimming competition next weekend." he said and I frowned.
"Isn't that kind of a given, you always ask me to go." I said and he rolled his eyes, mumbling something about me being dense.
"I meant you as in you and Will. It is pretty small next week so you have to either be related to one of the swimmers or have an invitation, his parents will never know." he explained and I smiled a small smile. He had been pretty supportive of the whole us seeing each other in secret thing and now that Annabeth is back from her dad's, she keeps on giving him ideas like this to help.
"I'll ask him." I said and Percy nodded while Reyna sighed.
"How long will you keep on seeing him like this? I mean, it is only a matter of time before someone finds out, starts some gossip and his parents hear it." she said and it was my turn to sigh.
"I don't know. I know it will most likely not end well, but I really like him. So, I think it will go on until he doesn't want it to anymore." I told her honestly and Percy chuckled.
"Because that will happen." he sassed and Reyna shoved him, almost pushing him off the bench. I chuckled with the others, before jumping to life at the feeling of a hand on my shoulder.
"I come bearing gifts." Jason said as I turned around with an eyebrow raised. "Ta-da!" he said, holding out his hand which held a single piece of folded paper.
"Thanks." I said, taking the paper and he sat down next to me, peering over my shoulder to see what it said.
"Library after school." he read out loud as I moved my hand to where it would be visible from Will's table and folded my hand to a thumbs up. Suddenly, Jason gasped and I turned to look at him, who was, in turn, looking at Will's table. "He's smiling and," he stopped to gasp overdramatically. "Is that a blush I see?" he continued and I shoved him, making him actually fall off the bench. "What? He is blushing." he said with a chuckle and I shook my head. Gods, my friends are idiots.

I hummed to myself as I walked through the flooding corridor. Lunch was just over and I was in a good mood, I was meeting Nico after school and if that's not great, I don't know what is.
Feeling great didn't last long as I saw the face of the person I'd least like to meet walking my way with a smug grin; Octavian (YUCK).
"I've noticed you and your plaything aren't hanging at very publically anymore, wouldn't have anything to do with him assaulting me, would it?" he asked and I clenched my jaw, something he could barely do. Even just speaking seemed to be troubling for him, an uplifting thought.
"You had it coming." Was all I said and he chuckled.
"Had it coming? All I did was try to reconnect with an old friend. How was I supposed to know he had gotten aggressive over the years." he said and I scoffed.
"He hasn't, you just antagonized him, and considering how you treated him in the past, I'd say that punch was way overdue." I said coldly and he furrowed his brows.
"How I treated him in the past? I don't know what he told you, but all I ever did was be good to him. He, however... well, that was a different story." he said and I rolled my eyes at the useless attempt.
"Save it, Augustus. Unlike you, I'm not some insecure little prat. I won't trust a snake like you over my friend. Now if you excuse me, I would rather be anywhere else." I said, before shouldering past him and going to my class, leaving him chocked in the hallway.

"He talked to you?" I asked as Will finished telling me about the end of lunch break and he nodded. "Sorry-"
"It's still not your fault he is a pretentious crap-nugget." he interrupted and I nodded with a sigh.
"I know, but he would most likely not annoy you if you didn't know me." I said and he flashed me a grin that made my stomach tingle.
"Well, I certainly don't regret knowing you." he said and I smiled, before remembering something.
"Right, Percy asked us to go to his swim competition next week, it's invite-only, so I told him I'd ask you." His grin widened and I couldn't help but smile back.
"I'd love to go because, with no disrespect to this lovely library, it would be nice with a change of scenery." he said and I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "So... would that count as a proper date or just a friendly meet-up?" he asked with a small blush tinting his cheeks, which was adorable.
"Well, that's up to you, though I was kind of hoping for option one." I said and his blush grew while I smiled.
"Option one it is." he said with a small smile of his own.
"William Andrew Solace, Di Angelo." A voice said from behind us and we both turned around, freezing at the sight. Will found his words first,
"Shit."

Just some friends chatting, Octavian being an ass, and some fluffy Solangelo to top it off. On a completely other note, what the heck?
Only a day or two ago, this story had like 190 views and now it has 211?? This is insane. It really amazes me that people have like read this, I didn't expect it when I first started writing this story. But here we are. I mean... I don't know what to say.
Just, it means a lot to me so thank you all.
And the last thing I have to say is, the next time I'll post a part of this story (I try to post every fifth day) will be September 1st, and is there anyone else who wishes we could just skip September and go on to Oktober?
Anyways, peace out!
