"Will, you need to wake up. School starts in an hour." my mom said and I groaned.

"I'm dead." I got out and she chuckled lightly, sitting down next to me on the bed with her brown hair touching the bed from how long it was.

"Do you want to talk about it?" she asked and I sighed, throwing the cover away while sitting up.

"Talk about what? The fact that my dad had the talk with me and that my crush heard it all? Or is it something else you think I would like to talk about?" I asked and she frowned. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be mad at you... or dad. I was the one who missed the mute button."

"Look kid, it might be a mess right now. But it will only be worse if you wait with facing him." she told me and I nodded.

"I hope you're right, otherwise you and I are going to have an issue with you, missy." I told her jokingly and she chuckled, before standing up.

"I think I'll manage. Now get your butt to school or I am going to have an issue with you, Mr." she said and I paled.

"Yes ma'am."

"Frank! To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked as soon as I saw him waiting where he knew I would be going to get to school. Hazel wasn't going with me, she never was on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays since she went to the stable before school then.

"I uh- I... you know how- Uh..." he tried and I patted his shoulder carefully.

"Breathe." Was all I said and he nodded grimly.

"Well, you have probably realized that I have feelings for your sister, more than friend ones." he said and I chuckled.

"What? You? I never would have thought it."

"Well, I was thinking about maybe asking her out on a date. But we are friends and she is your sister so I thought I should ask you if you would be comfortable with that. And maybe ask you if you think it is even worth a shot, or if she will simply turn me down." he explained, ignoring my comment. There were several ways I could handle this. I could tell him to take a chance and they would both ask each other out. Or I could tell him to not take a chance and then he would be happily surprised when she asks him out. I finally decided on option one, since it would be the most fun to watch.

"I think it's worth a shot. And yes, I am comfortable with you dating my sister. But hurt her and I will break your spine." I warned and he nodded.

"Of course."

"Good, now let's go, we don't want to be late."

School is boring. I have been stuck for three periods and finally, it was lunch where I could sit with my friends and simply just talk.

We sat at our usual table, enjoying the sun and talking because barely anyone really eats at lunch. It was a pretty chill day until Piper came alive with that glint in her eye that rarely meant anything good for anyone.

"Aren't you going to invite him?" she asked and I frowned.

"Who?" I asked, utterly lost. She just rolled her eyes, standing up and waving her hand in a come-here motion. I turned around to look where she was looking, only to see Will and his friends looking for a seat, their eyes on our table now that Piper had waved. I smiled slightly, waving calmly with one hand. They seemed hesitant to come at first as if they would be intruding, so I nodded towards the table. Finally, the three of them made their way over to us and sat down in the many empty seats since no one wanted to sit by us. "Solace." I greeted and he smiled a small smile.

"Di Angelo." he then turned to the others. "Hi, I'm-"

"Oh, we know who you are. Who do you think noticed your stalking, this dense shit?" Piper asked and I chuckled while Will blushed.

"Okay then. Well, this is Cecil and Lou-Ellen." he introduced his two friends, who both smiled and nodded as a greeting. I flashed them both a smile, about to greet them but was cut off.

"Nico!" a familiar voice called and I tried to hold back a grin, but failed.

"Excuse me." I told Cecil and Lou-Ellen as I turned to face my sister. "Hazel, how are you?"

"Don't "how are you" me. You told us both to ask the other one out, so we did. At the same time." she said, clearly annoyed and my smile grew.

"And how did it go?" I asked, glancing between her and Frank.

"Well. It went well... but that's not the point. The point is that you are a little bas- there are new people." she cut herself off as she noticed the three who usually never sat here. "Hi, I'm Hazel." she introduced as the three of them stared at her. While Hazel is as sweet as can be most of the time, she looks like a true demon when she's angry. Frank didn't seem too angry, he just seemed happy that he was going out with Hazel.

"I'm Lou, this is Cecil and I take it you've met Will." Lou-Ellen said and Hazel nodded as she and Frank sat down by the table. I turned to the three newcomers with an apologetic smile.

"Sorry about that, family drama." I excused, before turning to Will. "I take it you know all about that." I added with a teasing smile, causing him to blush while everyone else looked curious. Everyone except for Hazel who had been there when the phone call happened.

"What? What happened?" Cecil asked Will, who blushed further at having to tell everyone this.

"Well, my dad decided to have the talk with me while I was on the phone with Nico." he said and the others either snickered (Lou-Ellen, Percy, and Piper), looked chocked (Frank, Jason, and Reyna), or were simply smiling (Cecil and Hazel).

"I heard the whole thing, it was hilarious." Hazel said and Will's eyes widened.

"You heard?!" he asked and I chuckled.

"She did, but I didn't want to tell you since you were embarrassed as it was." I said and he simply let his head fall onto the table with a slam, not looking like he was getting up any time soon.

"Hey Solace, get up. I just got the best idea." Percy said and everyone used to him groaned, while the other three looked up to listen.

"Last time you had the best idea, we ended up painting the floor with ketchup." Jason protested and Percy waved him off.

"This one is actually good. There are three newbies here, a fresh couple, and some simple weirdos here, so a good way for all of us to get to know each other would be to play truth or dare. We can even do it at my house after school since my sister has some weird baby lessons with mom. Paul will be home, but he's cool." he explained and everyone still seemed reluctant to agree.

"I vote that we do it." Piper said, apparently less reluctant at the thought of us all embarrassing ourselves.

"Why not." Jason said, probably because he would get to spend extra time with Piper.

"I don't know, I have to make my homework before I'm allowed to do anything fun." I said and Lou-Ellen seemed confused.

"You do your homework?" she asked and Hazel chuckled.

"Our dad is very strict."

"I've met their dad, he's scary." Will said to his friend and both me and Hazel scoffed.

"No he's not." I said and everyone who wasn't related to him and had met him said simultaneously;

"Yes, he is."

Let's face it, Hazel would be a horse girl if she wasn't so busy with saving the world. She wouldn't be the annoying kind, but a horse girl nonetheless.

I know truth or dare is such a cliche, but I like embarrassing the characters so I'm using it anyways.

Sorry for not posting in... what's math. Uh, in almost three months (I think). I had a big period of writer's block and most of the things I published were prewritten things, which I didn't have prepared for this story. I'll try to update more frequently but no promises made. Peace out!
