GEORGE POV

As he was hanging out with Fred, all of a sudden Angelina joined them. George could see Fred roll his eyes at him and the girl who couldn't keep her hands of him. After a while Fred left the common room because he had detention, so he and Angelina were now alone on the couch.

The two of them were just chatting a little and joking about some stuff. 'For once it felt like Angelina was being genuine with me. She wasn't talking bad about Y/N or being all touchy and annoying. She was actually being quite nice and friendly.' George thought to himself.

"So I know you probably don't wanne talk about this, but I really don't get what you see in Y/N." 'Nevermind.' He thought.

"She's always off with those Hufflepuff guys, I heard that she even ditched you for them? Like who does that? That's just a little rude don't you think?" She asked as she fluttered her eyelashes at him.

"I don't know, I mean they always hang out and she already had plans with them before I asked to hang out." He said as he shrugged at her. "I'm just saying you could do so much better." She said in a seductive tone as she bit her lip. "Like who?" He asked with a smirk. "Like me." She said as she closed the gap between the two of them.

Her eyes than drifted from his eyes to his lips and back, she than bit her lip and roughly slammed her lips on his. He just kissed her back. She than deepened the kiss a little, but it didn't got as heated as one of the kisses George and Y/N ever shared, not even close.

Right at the moment he wanted to pull away and tell Angelina that this was all a mistake, she pulled away. "I told ya." She said to someone in the room. I turned around and saw Y/N standing there. His face dropped at the sight of her and she than made her way out of the common room.

He than felt Angelina grab his wrist. "George, why are you going after her?" "I'm sorry Angelina, but this was a mistake, I shouldn't have kissed you." He said as he pulled his arm out of her grip and started running after her. "Y/N WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN!!" He yelled, but not much later she was already out of sight.

'Fuck, I can't believe that just happened.' He thought to himself as he felt a tear roll down his cheek. 'I might have just lost my best friend and the girl I love, all because I was jealous and impulsive. Did I want to make her jealous? That's the most stupid thing someone has ever done.' He though to himself and made his way back to his dorm, because he knew that this time it was better that he didn't wait up for her.

Fred and Lee weren't there yet, so he just climbed in his bed. The tears were still streaming down his face, so he wanted to distract himself with something.

As he looked around his bed, he saw the book that Y/N always read to him. She bought him a copy for his birthday last year because he really liked the book. She also had written something on the first page, a special note. He opened the book, saw the small note and smiled at it. He than started reading a little and after a while he fell asleep.

Y/N POV

"Y/N WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN!!" You heard George yell, you were already much further than he was, so you just kept on running as the tears were streaming down your face. After a while you finally reached the courtyard and plopped yourself down on a bench. It was rather cold outside and pretty dark already, so there weren't that many students out.

You than burried your face in your hands and started sobbing once again. 'I should have known it,of course he doesn't like me. But did it really have to be Angelina? Did he really have to bekissing her of all people?' You thought to yourself.
