Almost, but not quite.
Like two lines approaching each
   other,
Yet will never touch even with all
   their might.
We're that line between something
and nothing that leaves us to
   wonder and ponder.

You are those waves from the deep
   seas that constantly visit my
   shore—
Soothing my soul and scribbling
   incomprehensible actions on my
   sands.
I felt butterflies on my tummy and
little tingles tugging my heart, yet
   all had left me unsure.
Hence, spare me a question before
   you'd again leave my lands—

What are we, really?
