Kevin entered his apartment. He walked into the living room and smiled when he saw Chanhee standing out on the balcony. He quietly took off his coat and walked up behind Chanhee.

He snaked his arms around Chanhee's waist and pressed soft kisses along his neck. But he frowned when he felt Chanhee tense up in his hold. He pouted in confusion.

"Are you cold, babe?" Kevin asked.

Chanhee shook his head. He leant against him but Kevin felt he was stiff. Kevin hugged him tighter, rubbing his thumbs up and down Chanhee's arms.

Chanhee didn't say a word or turn to face Kevin. He knew that just a slip of his tone or anything could worry Kevin.

Because that's how much Kevin knew him.

They headed back inside after a while. While having dinner, Kevin kept glancing at Chanhee who seemed to have few words that evening. Kevin put down his fork and looked at Chanhee.

"Mochi, is there something on your mind?" He asked.

"Huh? Nothing."

"You sure? You look quite occupied."

"Yeah. Just the usual about plots and stuff."

"Oh, why didn't you say so? Tell me what is it?" Kevin leant forward in interest.

Chanhee hesitated. He opened his mouth to talk but shook his head. He gave a wry smile.

"I need to think about it a bit more. I'll tell you later."

Kevin raised a brow. Chanhee never hesitated to discuss about his work with him. But he let it slide.

"Sure." He smiled.

After dinner, Kevin went off to shower while Chanhee did the dishes. His hands were busy in the kitchen but his mind was somewhere else.

He resented himself for doubting his own boyfriend. He also blamed his mind for thinking up horrible scenarios.

He shut off the tap and took off his rubber gloves, hanging it on the dish rack. He let out a sigh.

"Shut up."

He scolded himself, hitting his head on the cabinet. He didn't notice Kevin walking into the kitchen.

"Chanhee, are you really okay?"

Chanhee whipped around at the voice. His eyes widened in surprise and he stuttered.

Kevin frowned and walked up to Chanhee. He took his hand and felt for the temperature on his forehead.

"Is something wrong? Are you sick?" He asked worriedly.

Right now, Kevin looked like a kitten who was staring at his owner with pouted lips and wide doe eyes. Kevin looked really concerned and didn't let go of his hands.

Chanhee could kick himself in the ass for even doubting his dear boyfriend. He smiled and shook his head.

"Nothing's wrong."

Chanhee hugged Kevin, burying his face in Kevin's naked chest. Kevin smiled down at him and combed through Chanhee's blonde locks.

"I'm glad to hear that."

Juyeon and Sunwoo got back to the station where Eric was already waiting for them. He was pretending to be working on his laptop when he was really just playing games.
