Chapter 20: Apology

"Wait, so I'm confused. If Midoriya isn't dating Todoroki, then who's he dating?" Mina interrupted.

Everyone looked at her stupidly. "What?"

"What? I'm curious considering he blushed at Bakugou but is now sitting on Todoroki's brother's lap who also happens to have a cute nickname for him." Mina told them.

Dabi stilled. "You blushed at Bakugou?"

Shoto sighed. "He didn't. Bakugou had said that rather than me and Izuku, it would be more likely for you and Izuku to be dating. Izuku turned to look at him while blushing when he said that."

"Wait so then I'm confused. Was he blushing because of Bakugou or because he was paired with me?" Dabi asked, blushing slightly.

Monoma grinned. "Because of you."

Dabi started blushing more than before and Izuku blushed as well. Mina looked between them.

"So does that mean you two are dating?"

Izuku shook his head along with Dabi. "No, we are not. We are just friends."

Mina tsked and walked away. Izuku sighed. "Why are they so interested all of a sudden? Like why do they care about my love life?"

"Because you are amazing." Dabi explained, grinning.

Bakugou sighed and rolled his eyes. "How are you able to spout all that sappy shit?"

Izuku glanced at him and Dabi scoffed. "It's not sappy if it's true. He is amazing and I will fight anyone who says otherwise."

Izuku grinned at Dabi. "Why thank you."

Dabi winked. "No problem."

Izuku chuckled and shook his head. "Now shush. I'm tired." He then tucked his head and nestled closer to Dabi. Monoma wiggled his eyebrows at Dabi who rolled his eyes in response as he laid his chin on top of Izuku's head. Bakugou had been forgotten about but he surprisingly didn't mind and instead went to go eat lunch along with the rest of the class. Izuku did end up falling asleep, curled up in Dabi's lap. Shoto had ended up falling asleep against Monoma who had his arm around Shoto's shoulders. Iida and Aoyama were talking with Shoji, Tokoyami, Shinso and Kaminari when the bell rang to signal the end of lunch. Class 1-A slowly filtered in and kept glancing over at the group, wondering why students who weren't in their class were still in the classroom.

Midnight came in and took a double take when she saw Shinso and Monoma who weren't in the class and Dabi who wasn't even a student.

"Um, what are you two doing and who is that?" Midnight asked, pointing at Dabi.

"Sho fell asleep on me, Shinso didn't hear the bell and Dabi, he has a letter." Monoma explained.

"I would give you the letter but Izu fell asleep on me so I can't get up. Izu's mom talked to Nezu and I'm allowed to be here, it should be explained better in the letter." Dabi added.

Midnight blinked rapidly before nodding slowly. At that moment, Aizawa walked in. He saw Monoma, Shinso and Dabi, pausing at the first two and nodding at Dabi.

"Dabi, where's the letter?" Aizawa asked.

Dabi dug through his pockets, keeping one arm around Izuku, and pulled out a letter. "Here"

Aizawa walked over and took it, lifting his eyebrow when he saw Izuku sleeping. "Thanks." Then he walked over and opened the letter, reading it. Once he read it, he explained to Midnight and turned to look at Monoma and Shinso.

"I understand Dabi but why are you two still here?" he asked.

"Shoto fell asleep on Monoma. Shinso just kinda didn't hear the bell." Dabi told him.
