Road Trips

A/N: this preference is going to be split into 2 parts. so I'll do Thomas and Newt in this one and Minho and Gally in the next.

Thomas-- "C'mon Y/N! We need to get on the road!" Thomas yells from downstairs. You let out a sigh and finish putting your hair in a messy bun. "Coming!" You yell back.

You run down the stairs to see Thomas gathering the last of the luggage and putting it in the car. "Need any help?" You ask. "Nope. I'm good, you can get into the car." He replies. You get in the car and buckle up.

Thomas gets into the car five minutes later and starts it up. You two were going on a cross country road trip all the way to California. It's been about 3 hours since you've left home and Thomas turns on the radio. And the Spice Girls is on. "Oh great.." You murmur jokingly. "Oh c'mon Y/N, don't act like you don't love it." He says with a smirk. Thomas starts dancing in his seat. You laugh and punch him in the arm. "Ow Y/N! You don't like my moves?" He asks faking a frown. "No Thomas, I love your moves." You say sweetly, kissing his cheek.

Newt-- You and Newt we're going on a weekend trip to the beach. But that meant you had to drive 8 hours, because you were going to Myrtle Beach. "Ready, love?" Newt asks. You nod and take his hand. You walk to the parking garage of our apartment building.

You get to your car and Newt holds the door open and you get inside in the passengers seat. "Thanks!" You say and he replies with a smile. Newt gets into the drivers seat and starts the car. "Ready?" He asks, buckling himself in. "Yeah! I've been waiting forever to get to the beach!" You exclaim. "We're gonna have an awesome time!" He replies. You nod as Newt starts the car.

It's been about an hour and Newt decides to talk. "So.. Y/N, do you think we should stop somewhere?" He asks, keeping his eyes on the road. "Well, if there's a starbucks anywhere near here I'm all for it!" You say. "Well then you're in luck, because there's a starbucks off this exit up here." He says, smirking. "Let's go!" I say, excitedly. When you got to starbucks, you both ran into there and ordered. You got a latte with 2 pumps of mocha. And Newt got just a regular coffee. We sat down at a table and talked. "I love you so, so much Newt." You say, smiling. He smiles and kisses you.

A/N: Omg guys! I'm so sorry I didn't update for like 6 days! I had a week off because of snow and I guess I kinda got happy and played in the snow lol. And my birthday was yesterday, and I got a maze runner & divergent posters. And a mockingjay pin and phone case. I totally had a fangirl birthday. And then, last night TFiOS came on HBO!!
