Newt Imagine for Cassidy

I was sitting in the deadheads when I heard the greenie alarm. Excited about the new greenie, I sprint towards the box and wait.

Newt is already there and I give him a small smile and wave. The alarm stops and everyone looks expectantly inside the box. It opens up and reveals a boy cowered in the corner. He looks vaguely familiar though...

I step closer to get a better look. He definitely looks familiar. Newt and Alby help him out of the box. Then, the greenie takes off running then trips. I giggle then walk up to him and offer my hand.

"You okay?" I ask, still giggling.

"Yeah- wait what's your name?" He asks, looking at me.

"Uh Cassidy,"

"Thomas."

"Cassidy!" Newt yells from behind.

"Whaaat?" I whine.

"Why are you taking to him?" Newt asks disgusted.

"Why? I'm pretty sure I can talk to anyone here." I say.

"I'm- I'm sorry. It's just I don't want anyone else to talk to you but me.

Listen, I really like you. A lot. And I guess I got jealous." Newt confesses. I'm standing there in shock. Did I hear him right? Did he say he liked me?

Before I can reply, I feel a pair of lips on mine. Newt. I kiss back. This moment is perfect.

We finish kissing, and walk to the deadheads to continue for more privacy.
