You wake up in a metal box that seems to be moving upward. There are red lights as you continue to move up in this elevator thing. All you can think about is where you are and what's happening.
Just then, the box stops, and doors open to reveal a blinding light. You shield your eyes and try to stand up, but fail collapsing to the ground.
When you regain your balance, you look up and see about 40 boys staring at you.
"It's a...girl." A boy with blonde hair and a British accent says.
"Where am I?" I manage to say. "Come on, I'll show you. And by the way, names Newt." The boy says extending a hand to me.
I take his hand, not sure what to expect. "So Greenie, what's your name?" Newt asks.
"Y/N" I say
"Nice name.." Someone from behind me says.
"Hi Y/N, I'm Thomas." The boy says, smiling at me.
"Thomas, why don't you show the Greenie around?" Newt asks.
"Sure, Newt." Thomas replies.
Thomas takes me from there and he shows me the place I shall call 'home' for now. They call it the Glade. He shows me the Homestead, gardens, Deadheads, and the kitchen.
"So, Y/N, are you hungry?" Thomas asks me.
"More like starving.." I say, chuckling. Thomas takes me to the kitchen where we grab some sandwiches. We have a long conversation and I can feel Thomas stealing glances at me.
"What?" I ask, giggling.
"Nothing.." He says. "You're just..um really cute." He says. blushing.
"You- you think I'm cute?" I ask.
"Yeah, I know, it's stupid to fall in love with a Greenie on their first day but..." he trails off.
I get up out of my chair and pull it next to him. And I stare at him for a while before he cups my face and kisses me passionately.
"I love you Y/N."
"I love you too, Thomas."
