Chapter 15 - jealous?

~ Jugheads pov ~
The next morning, we were back at doing our work, so I had to wake up early. I woke up happy, after that amazing conversation I had last night with now my girlfriend Betty, she made me absolutely happy.

It was early, and I was tired, yesterday I went to sleep late compering the hour I had to wake up, 6am.

I took a shower, got dressed and went to have breakfast, Charles was already there. I hadn't talked to him after the date, and the accident thing. He had some questions. "Good morning bro" he wasn't the best of my friends, but I wasn't gonna treat him like he treated girls, I was not that kind of person. "Morning, where were you this past days Jones? I know you were on a date with Cooper but yesterday?" I rolled my eyes, I really didn't want to explain myself, but I would have to "there was an accident and while they investigate the cause of it, we had to stay out of campus" I said taking my toast and spreading some butter on it, then biting the toast, delicious ( a/n: sorry I'm hungry HAHSH). After a while Charles continued talking, changing the subject of the accident "how was your date?" I smiled, because I thought about her "it was- we can say it was successful" I said blushing hard, he understood everything, but didn't react as I thought he would. He was like jealous, first not answering me to that, and then putting one of those looks he puts when he wants to get something.

We were in silence, I broke it. "What you thinking?" He looked back at me, and tried changing the face he had "o-oh nothing. I'm happy for you two" he didn't mean what he said. We continued eating, then headed to our classes.

When I arrived I saw Betty and Veronica waiting for us at the entrance. We had the same classes apparently. "Hello" I said wrapping my arms around the blonde girls neck, giving a kiss on her head. "Hi jug" she said turning around "I've missed you" she said turning a sad face "it's only been a day Betty" I laughed, she couldn't help and did too, we got lost in each other's eyes and leaned in for a kiss "You two!! Cringe couple!!" Then we turned to Veronica, she was laughing "oh shut up Veronica" Betty said pushing her shoulder and laughing, I laughed too. "Let's go to class people" I said and took my girls hand, Veronica went behind us.

After that class we had a break. We went to the park next to the building and sat down on the grass, just Betty and I. Betty laid her head on my chest, Veronica wasn't with us anymore, she went with the popular people. "Why don't you go with your friends Betts?" I asked stroking her hair "do you want me to go?" She turned around to look at me, I shook my head "no", she laid down again "so why do you want me to go with my friends?" She continued asking "cause they are your friends, you are not gonna stop hanging out with them because of me" I said looking to the sky, with Betty in my arms. "I'm not gonna stop hanging out with them, it's just today, and tomorrow you're coming with me" she stood to take my hand "maybe even now" I shook my head, not talking her hand "I don't fit there Betty" then Betty looked at me concerned and kneeled down to face me close "you don't know still. They are incredible people believe me, they are not like the popular kids at high school, here's different" she said with an smile "ok" I smiled back, she pecked my lips and helped me getting up. Then we went with her friends.
