Chapter 7

~Ψ~

(y/n) pov:

Saiki didn't want to come to ramen today, I understand why I kind of ruined things between us. I still feel like crap about that getting friend zoned is the worst. 

at our usual ramen shop we get a booth and I am sitting next to Kuboyaso the hot new guy. 

"hey manager! can we get four bowls of ramen?" Nendo orders

'I should start a conversation with the new guy'

"I don't believe I've introduced myself yet, I'm (y/n) (l/n) I was the transfer student from last semester." I say

'that cute girl is talking to me'

"nice to meet you (l/n) I'm Kuboyaso"

"my name's Shun Kaido, a dark force named black beat dwells in my right arm and a secret organization called Dark Reunion is after it, you wouldn't happen to work for them would you?" he says holding a hand up to his face.

'wait, Dark Reunion? isn't that that gang who hangs out on fifth street?'

"hey I know Dark Reunion they were after me for a while too"

they both continue their conversation each thinking the other is talking about something else.

~an hour later~

we all finished eating and the sun is beginning to set.

"hey (l/n) it's getting dark out do you want me to walk you home?" Kuboyaso offers with a slight blush on his face.

"yeah sure thank you!" I reply also blushing.

(little does (y/n) know, a jealous physic was walking behind them invisible)

Saiki's pov:

'how come she moved on so fast? and why am I following her I want her to move on'

I should probably keep an eye on her, what if this guy is dangerous you never know. he was in a gang what if that puts (y/n) in danger? 

they start talking about something and I listen in.

"so what brings you to PK Academy?" I ask him

"..." he doesn't respond

maybe that question was too personal? we reach my house and I go to open my gate but he stops me.

"wait (y/n) " he touches my shoulder.

"yeah?" I say turning to face him.

'did he just use my first name? thats weird'

he pulls me in by my waist and my lips meet his. 

'this feels wrong, like a betrayal to Saiki, even though he doesn't like me and we never dated or anything it still feels wrong. but this kiss feels so nice.

he tilts his head slightly and I pull away my face is bright pink. 

"I've been wanting to do that all night." he says with a smile on his face.

"Kuboyaso I-I'm sorry but I kind of like someone else"

"oh I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that" he says apologetically 

I walk into my house my heart beating like a drum and my palms clammy.

'what was that? does he... like me? but I don't really like him that much I mean he's great and good looking but I like Saiki more.'
