Chapter 9

~Ψ~

~time skip: a month~

Saiki's pov:

today we are getting a new transfer student and someone spread a rumor that it was a girl so all the guys in the class are abuzz. yare yare.

a blonde gyaru enters the classroom holding a crystal ball covered in accessories and immediatly grabs the attention of every guy in class.

"I'm Mikoto Airua, but you guys can call me Miko. my hobbies are fortune telling and decorating nails."

'hm? another psychic?'

she's giving out fortunes to everyone now, she already told Chiyo that she had a compatabilty score of 2% which sort of broke her.

'this girl is the real deal'

(y/n)'s pov:

"why did you transfer here anyways Miko?" when I said that she started blushing.

"you want to know?" she says

"yea" 

"well I read my own fortune and apparently my soulmate is here, he has pink hair and crazy abilities and his initials are S.K." I gasp when she described her soulmate, she almost perfectly described Saiki, accept for the abilities thing.

~the next day~

today when I got to school I noticed Saiki wasn't there, that's strange he never skips school maybe he's sick.

then it hit me. I have an amazing Idea I'll ask my mom to make him some soup then after school I can bring it to his house and make sure he's ok.

while I was deep in thought Kokomi came in and Aiura couldn't stop staring at her with a deep blush in her cheeks. its a natural response to Kokomi's beauty but she was staring at her for a while.

'wha? her aura is huge is it possible that she is my soulmate? no it can't be she doesnt fit the description.'

"hey Aiura can you read my fortune?" I ask her

"sure!" she grabs a bucket of water and an eraser and starts doing weird things. she kneels on the floor and stares at the water then looks back up at me.

"I sense jealousy from you, but there is no need to worry the guy you like likes you back." I blush profusely.

'how did she get it so spot on? and does Saiki really like me back? wait why did he reject me then?'

~after school~

I rushed home and threw on my favorite outfit and made some delicious soup for Saiki. I make my way over to Saiki's house and ring the doorbell but his mom answered.

"WHO IS THIS A PRETTY GIRL HAS COME TO SEE MY KUSUO!?" she says crying

"uh yeah he wasn't at school today I figured he must be sick so I made him some soup!" is he home?

"oh he actually just left he went back to school for something I'm not sure what though" 

'he went back to school? I guess I'll go back too.'

~thirty minutes later~

I have been walking around the school for a half an hour trying to find Saiki, I'm now on the roof and the sun is setting. 

"CHIYOPIPI" i hear a voice yelling.

I look over and see Aiura holding the hand of Chiyo as she dangles off the side of the roof, it appears as though a guard rail broke. 

I drop the soup that has thankfully cooled and spilled all over my shoes and I run over and to help Aiura but as soon as I reach them Chiyo slips out of her grasp and starts falling. I turn away I can't watch. after a few second I hear no thud and I open my eyes and see Saiki standing in front of me holding an unconscious Chiyo.

"WHAT SAIKI!? HOW DID YOU GET UP HERE SO FAST WHAT JUST HAPPENED."

I look over and see Aiura just as freaked out as I am. 

"I have something to tell you guys"
