Unexpected incidents

"What are we doing here?" Su Han asked. He and Marinette were in the park walking towards nothing in particular.

"You can learn a lot about people and-" he interrupted her.

"I know people, I want to learn about this new world." He was explaining how he was ignorant he was about this new world when something unfamiliar caught his eye.

"Why are these horses so static? Are they paralysed of some sort?" He asked while examining the horse riding game.

"No, it's just a fun ride. And the horses are fake." She responded. "If you wanna see the world, why don't we get out to the streets?"

As they got out of the park, a car passed in front of them.

"What wizardry is this, why are there people inside those fast beasts?" He asked in wonder.

"These are just cars, a way of transportation."

"So there are no horses to travel by, incredible." He exclaimed as he looked at the cars. He noticed the traffic light turns into red.

"Why is this tall piece of metal glow red?" He pointed towards it.

"That's the traffic lights, it turned red so the cars on this road stop and the other could go. It kinda organizes the traffic, prevents accidents." She was interrupted by a message from her phone.

"Oh excuse me." She stopped walking and got her phone out. It was a message of Adrien. Su Han on the other hand had no idea what she was holding.

"What is this magnificent glowing rectangular thing?"

"This is a mobile phone. It has everything you need from the Internet to mobile games to GPS and so much more." Marinette turned her focus to Adrien's messages. "Right now, my friend is sending me a message." Su Han was stunned.

"You don't need pigeons to send messages anymore?"

"No......uh, look, you have been gone for a long time, I know this is a lot but the world changed." She tapped on Adrien and started reading his text.

Adrien:
Hey, I was going to ask my father to hang out with you tomorrow but he is busy, so how about this weekend? I'm sure he will agree, besides I can always sneak out. ;)

She chuckled after reading the last part.

Marinette:
Sounds great.

"How do I get something like it?" Su Han asked.

"Do you have any money? It's not free you know."

"Give me a second." He reached for his pocket. He got out some bronze and silver coins. "Will these do." He showed his coins to her, who gave him a confused look.

"I don't think they will." She responded. "But don't worry, there are other ways to get money-" She was interrupted by her phone beeping again. "Excuse me." She said. She opened her phone and found a message from Marianne. She said in her text that she and Master Fu are coming to Paris today.

"What is it?" Su Han asked.

"Nothing I just uh.....have an appointment with a friend. See you tomorrow, bye" she said and quickly ran off.

Adrien was in his room. He just received a text from Marinette. His mind was whirling with thoughts. He didn't expect her to say yes, not that he is complaining though. His father told him that he is busy, and he can't see him. A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. Plagg quickly hid.
