The sun rose about an hour ago. Birds are singing softly. Trees are wiggling as the cold breeze blew through their leaves.Ladybug picked up her pace. She transformed her yoyo into a staff quickly. The wind rushed through her hair when she swung her weapon at Su Han, which he blocked using his staff.
"You're getting better." They pulled away.
"What can I say? I learned from the best." She prepared herself to block his attack. He struck from the left. She blocked it successfully. They both pushed against each other using their weapons. Ladybug gritted her teeth, she pushed harder. They pulled away.
"Harder! Do you think your enemies will be merciful?"
Ladybug charged at him. Attacking from the left, then the right. She attacked multiple times, Su Han either evaded or blocked.
"They're just victims and you know it." She spoke before striking again. He dodged.
"I know, but they are weak, they couldn't resist the taste of power."
Su Han attacked. Ladybug jumped backwards. He attacked again, she hardly blocked it.
"Come on Master, don't blame them, blame Shadow moth."
"Shield form." Ladybug pressed the middle button on her yoyo. It turned into a shield. "Try to block my attacks, without attacking back."
"Wait what?" He struck her with her staff. She didn't block it in time. "A little warning would be nice you know."
"Expect the unexpected." Ladybug raised a brow. He ran to the left ready to strike her. But she got hit again, from the right.
"How am I suppose to do that?" She commented.
"Focus, don't use just your eyes, use your other senses." He looked at her without moving. He took his position, ready to attack. She clenched her yoyo and furrowed her brows, ready to block his attack.
He suddenly pushed himself forward. Taking a leap, then the other, getting closer to her. She readied herself. He jumped and attacked from above. She blocked. He got down and started sending relentless strikes. She kept using her shield to prevent herself from being hit.
He finally stopped. Ladybug was panting.
"What an exercise." She commented.
"Lesson of the day..." He unexpectedly tackled her. She fell on her back. "Always, keep your eyes peeled. Don't let the enemy out of your sight. They would betray you when they get a chance." Ladybug smirked.
"I knew you would do that." She used her legs to tackle him. He fell and lost his staff. He looked up to see her pointing her weapon at him. "Expect the unexpected." He smiled.
The two sat on a bench. He gave her a bottle of water. She de- transformed to give Tikki a rest. Marinette usually tells him what's new to keep him updated. Though sometimes he didn't need an update.
"Well, now we have a spy from the inside." Su Han raised a brow. "Mayura, the former peacock miraculous holder." Su Han stood up furiously.
"And you simply trust her?"
"No not yet, but she got us some information on Shadow moth plan." He sat and tried to calm himself.
"I don't trust her, but I trust you."
"And then we got Zoe, the first one to naturally break free from Akumatization."
"Incredible!" Su Han remarked. "Anything else?"
Marinette bit her lip. She didn't tell him about Alya and Chloe finding out about her.
"No."
"Sure?" She hesitated again. "I already know, didn't someone found out about you." Her eyes widened. She sighed.
