We arrived at my house alive, breathing, and with all our body parts still intact.

"I promise, we'll talk," I reassured Lisa, as I quickly made my way to the kitchen, grabbing Rosé with me. Lisa followed us, busy grabbing beers, chips, and other snacks for our impromptu hangout. Meanwhile, Jennie and Jisoo went straight to my room, the two still giving us a cold treatment.

-Flashback: Earlier at the Yang building parking area-

For the first time in history, Lisa didn't volunteer to drive. Rosé took the wheel, but Lisa insisted it should be Jennie or Jisoo behind the wheel.

Jennie ended up taking the key, glaring at Lisa as she did so. She dragged me and Rosé to the back, leaving Jisoo to reluctantly sit in the front.

At the back of the car, Lisa kept whispering to me that she needed to talk to me in private. I looked up and saw Jennie glancing at us in the rearview mirror, her eyes narrowing. Jisoo did the same thing, but she said nothing. If looks could kill, Lisa and I would've been dead and on the news by now. Cause of death: Road Rage!

I whispered back, "We'll talk at home. And stop with the clinginess! Your girlfriend's driving like a maniac, and Jisoo keeps staring at us."

As usual, Rosé was buried in her phone, looking half-asleep, completely unaware of Jennie's wild driving.

"Jennie, red light! Red light!" I shouted, pointing at the traffic light, but Jennie ignored me and ran the red light.

"Nini, drive carefully!" Lisa said, looking genuinely concerned.

"Jennie, I care for my life. Please pay attention to the road!" I added, glancing around nervously to see if a police car was following us.

"Shut up, both of you!" Jennie and Jisoo yelled in unison, irritated.

"It's your fault!" I whispered to Lisa.

"I didn't do anything, I just want to talk!" Lisa whispered back.

"Don't argue with me. Distance yourself from me, Jennie and Jisoo are going to kill us both. You know how scary they are," I muttered, trying to free myself from Lisa's hold.

We continued our whispered bickering until Jennie suddenly slammed on the brakes. Lisa and I both bumped into the front seats. Jennie and Jisoo smirked at us from the front seats as if this was some sort of prank.

"Well, that was dramatic," Jennie commented casually before continuing her drive. Soon, we arrived safely at my place.

-End of Flashback-

"What took you so long?" Jennie and Jisoo asked suspiciously as they settled outside on the veranda of my room.

"We helped unnie get the stuff," Lisa said, proudly displaying the beers and snacks. She quickly ran to Jennie and started apologizing, swearing nothing was going on between her and me. Jennie easily forgave her, and I just smiled, shaking my head.

"That long?" Jisoo asked, giving me a curious glance.

"Ahh, yes! I... I received a call from Dad, just checking in on me, work, and all that," I lied, avoiding her gaze. I hated lying to Jisoo, but I didn't want to get into the whole situation right now.

I sat next to Jisoo and rested my head on her shoulder. "I promise I'll tell you everything," I whispered, my voice soft.

"Okay, I trust you," Jisoo replied, giving me a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Lisa started cracking open the beers and handing drinks to everyone. "So, what's up, Chaeng?" I asked, turning my attention to Rosé.

"Geulsse, naneun-i salam-eulbogoissda." (Well, I am seeing this guy.) Rosé started, her voice full of excitement.
