Morning on Monique's birthday

"We're supposed to have a shoot today," Jisoo commented, glancing around with a raised eyebrow. "Why are we here at Monique's at this hour? Is she even here?"

"Yah, Jisoo, please chill," Jennie replied, waving her off with a playful smirk.

"Monique unnie's probably working, she mentioned she's got stuff to do on her birthday," Rosé said with a shrug. "We're here to help Mina and the rest prepare food for her birthday. All her favorites."

Jisoo nodded, somewhat reluctantly. "Fine, fine, I guess."

The group settled into the kitchen, greeted by Mina, Irene, and the rest of the team who were busy organizing the food prep.

"I'll cook spaghetti with meatball sauce. That's her favorite," Joseph said, grabbing ingredients and setting them on the counter.

"I'll help you," Rosé chimed in, already gathering a pot and getting to work beside him.

"I'm going to bake a triple chocolate cake," Jennie declared, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Jisoo, you're giving me a hand, right?"

Jisoo gave her an exaggerated sigh but grinned. "Guess I don't have much of a choice, huh?"

"We're going to prepare the BBQ," Mina and Irene said in unison, sharing a high-five as they pulled out the grill supplies.

The rest of the group looked around, wondering where Lisa had gone. "What are you two doing?" Jisoo asked, eyeing Lisa and Iu, who were standing off to the side.

"I'll go see appa and eomma, they're in the backyard," Lisa quickly answered, giving Iu a nod.

"I'll go with her," Iu added, not missing a beat. "Don't burn down the kitchen, guys," she laughed, giving everyone a teasing wink before running to catch up with Lisa.

You wake up to the warm sunshine streaming through the windows, filling the room with a golden glow. Tropical birds are chirping outside, and the playful bickering of Lisa and Iu echoes from your room. They're in the middle of some game, clearly caught up in a fun rivalry.

You shake your head and smile, watching them from the doorway as you stretch and take in the peaceful scene. It almost feels like I'm dreaming, you think to yourself, enjoying the serenity of the moment. You step outside onto the veranda, breathing in the fresh morning air and soaking in the breathtaking view. This... this is perfect.

The sound of squabbling continues, but this time, you decide to get to the bottom of it.

"Yah, what are you two squabbling about?" You ask, glancing over at Lisa and Iu, who are engrossed in their game.

"Lisa is cheating!" Iu accuses, pouting.

"I am not!" Lisa protests, sticking her tongue out at Iu. "I'm just too good at this game."

"Kids!" You comment with a small chuckle, shaking your head as you leave them to it and walk towards the stairs.

As you make your way downstairs to the kitchen, you're greeted by the sound of your phone buzzing in your pocket. You don't notice that Jisoo is already standing at the top of the stairs, eyeing you curiously while giving you a suspicious look.

"I thought you were doing stuff," Jisoo says, her voice dripping with amusement, as she crosses her arms.

"I am," you reply, flashing her a playful smile.

Jisoo raises an eyebrow. "Watching Lisa's Swalla dance, is that what you mean by 'stuff'?"

"Wha... what?" you stammer, quickly shoving your phone into your pocket. "No, of course not," you say, avoiding her gaze as you walk past her and start looking for Rosé. "Chaeng! Chaeng!" you call out.
